By A Correspondent- The announcement was made by the Energy and Power Development minister Fortune Chasi on his official Twitter account. ZESA Holdings acting chief executive officer Patrick Chivaura has died on Friday morning with details of his death still unknown.

“Sadly, Mr Chivaura an eminent electrical engineer who served as acting CEO at zesa and was due to retire this month passed on this morning. Highly professional, god fearing, honesty MHSRIP. So long Mukanya!” Chasi tweeted.

Arrangements for his funeral are currently underway amid revelations that family members are still being notified of the death. 

ZESA is yet to issue a comment on the matter.
