The opposition party has released a statement on the late former Prime Minister’s birthday. Tsvangirai was born on March 10, 1952.

“In celebration of his life and unquestionable contribution to the democratic struggle.

Dr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai would have been 68 today,”said the party in a brief statement.

“Yes, my late boss Morgan Richard Tsvangirai would have turned 68 today. A friend, a boss, a father, an icon, a patriot.

Indeed, you left a legacy of service and sacrifice. Rest in power, Pakuru,” posted Luke Tamborinyoka on Facebook.
