Own Correspondent|Activist and former Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association leader Dr Peter Magombeyi has jumped the gun and declared that 5 people have died from coronavirus in Zimbabwe.

Magombeya who is currently living outside the country ignored the new Coronavirus Regulations set up by government and criminalise anyone other than government officials from giving Coronavirus information.

The activist who was last year kidnapped in Harare by suspected state security agents and was later found alive and disoriented, dumped about 33 km out of Harare in a placed called Nyabira, says he has evidence to prove his claim.

Magombeya is alleging that the Ministry of Health is leaving some details which they are not telling the public about the Coronavirus statistics in the country.

There has been so much rumour about the government giving false numbers of the victims of this deadly disease. Many believe there are more deaths than the two deaths the government is claiming so far.
