Opposition MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa has accused the dreaded Central Intelligence Organisation of targeting his Organising Secretary Amos Chibaya who was involved in a freak accident along Zvishavane road yesterday.

Chibaya escaped with minor scars while an alleged CIO operative Norman Kujoka sustained a leg injury.

Posting on Twitter, Chamisa wished Chibaya well but was quick to highlight that he was targeted because they feared him.

He also took a dig at his former allies, Douglas Mwonzora, Elias Mudzuri, Thokozani Khupe and Morgan Komichi, saying the state is promoting them because they are weak.

“Old tactics…Old habits! Get well soon People’s National Organiser, Hon Amos Chibaya.They target & eliminate whom they fear most, they promote whom they fear least.Stand strong,” said Chamisa.
