By Own Correspondent| Self exiled former cabinet minister Professor Jonathan Moyo has poured cold water on party politics saying it is an outdated instrument of achieving real change in Zimbabwe.

Responding to questions from Open Parly on their #tweetview on whether he will join his ally Saviour Kasukuwere’s political party, Moyo rubbished the idea saying he has no time to waste in politics.

“I have no time to waste in party politics. In any event, I think political parties are outdated as instruments for reforms or real change in Zimbabwe. What’s now needed is a broad movement of coalitions,” said Moyo.

Since his dismissal from Zanu PF and government following a military inspired coup in November 2017, Professor Moyo has been in self imposed exile.

He has become one of the fiercest critic of the ruling Zanu PF and is of the people behind the hashtag #Zanupfmustgo
