Farai Dziva|MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa has challenged government to release the missing party youth leaders.

The missing MDC Alliance Youth Assembly leaaders are Joana Mamombe(MP Harare West and Secretary for Policy and Research), Cecilia Chimbiri(deputy chairperson) and Netsai Marova(vice organising secretary).

” I’m very concerned at the situation regarding members of our Youth Assembly, Hon. Joana Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri and Netsai Marova who were arrested but remain unaccounted for; their whereabouts still unknown,” Chamisa posted on Twitter.

He added: “The State has a duty to ensure the personal security of all citizens. We are concerned that police who initially admitted they had been arrested have changed their tune and now deny responsibility.

Given the history of abductions and enforced disappearances we are extremely concerned for the safety and security of our members. Bring the 3 to court. If anything happens to the 3, we hold the arresting authorities responsible and accountable!Stop provoking the people!”
