MDC officials Joana Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri, Netsai Marova who are facing charges of reporting false information to police have had another charge of communicating falsehood imposed on them.

Posting on Twitter, Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights said:

“High drama continues as police add more charges of communicating falsehoods against 3 MDC youth leaders Joana Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri, Ntsai Marova alleging that they told their lawyers, friends and relatives in May that they had been abducted.”
