All is not well at Morgan Richard Tsvangirai House formerly known as Harvest House.

Pressure seems to be mounting for Douglas Mwonzora that he wants the MRT house exclusively for himself and his backers.

On Wednesday there was a party press briefing. Two of Dr. Thokozani Khupe’s aides Kudzanani Shumba as George Rice were barred from entering the building.

Mashumba was manhandled by one of Mwonzora security details who were manning the entrance while Rice was not allowed into the building altogether.

When the security details were asked who gave them instructions to bar the aides, their response was that it was from their President Mwonzora.

Speaking to ZimEye.com, Mashumba said, “it comes as no surprise that they are already calling him President as this is testified by his miniature motorcade he is seen travelling with these days.

“He preaches non-violence but he actually sponsors it on the other hand.”

Senator Mwonzora was contacted for a comment but his phone was not picked up. Also contacted were Senator Morgen Komichi and Vanguard Leader Shakespear Mukoyi who were asked to investigate, but their phones were switched off. ZimEye also contacted Hatfield MP Tapiwa Mashakada who confirmed knowledge of the incident having heard of it after the meeting. But Mashakada was quick to suddenly deny any knowledge of it.
