West made his intentions known via the Twitter platform, drawing more than a million reactions.

It was not clear at the time of writing if West is truly going into politics or he is playing stunts. He wrote:

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States ??! #2020VISION ”
