By A Correspondent | There was drama when a self confessed CIO agent was caught with a cellphone inside her underwear after prowling the MDC three, Joana, Cecilia, and Netsai near the Harare Central Police station.

The incident happened yesterday at around 2.20pm.

The trio’s lawyer, Jeremiah Bamu told ZimEye how at approximately 1420hrs on 3 Aug 2020, the CIO agent in the yellow mask (pictured) was trailing the trio after they had gone to the police to comply with their reporting obligations.

She was caught taking them pics, recording short videos and sending to CIO whatsapp groups. She refused to comply with legitimate demands to delete the footage she had taken and defied police directives to that effect, insisting she was a CIO agent and demanded to see the officer in charge. She further demanded to be taken to CID Law and Order but the trio kept insisting that she delete her footage. The DISPOL subsequently came and caused the pics footage to be deleted and said he was seizing the phone for further investigations from the CID cyber lab. He also made sure a report was recorded in the occurrence Book.

He also advised that the CIO agent was being detained for an undisclosed offence.

She was however set free and seen taking away in the Mazda vehicle with ZANU PF branded material.
