A flaming rumour that hit Mash West yesterday saying Norton MP Temba Mliswa’s cattle have been found dead at his farm in Karoi has pictures of dead beasts strewn all over. We did an investigation using a pixel and metadata algorithm, and found that the pictures have a 2008 internet age and they first appeared in San Jose(US) and Berlin (Germany) back in 2008. ZimEye also found that the same pictures have been used in a media story involving a Belvedere based zanu-pf Asian man, whose own cattle and also said to have died during the week.  ZimEye could not establish the original source of the rumour. We could neither obtain any factual leads to even suggest the claim that Mliswa’s cattle have been found dead. ZimEye however found that there are ongoing verbal skirmishes between Mliswa and ZANU PF youths in Mash West.
