Harare Magistrate Ngoni Nduna has hit out at the Prison officers for bringing incarcerated journalist Hopewell Chin’ono into court-room while fettered in leg irons.

Nduna asked prison officers to remove the leg irons insisting that no suspect should ever be brought into court in such a condition.

This followed appeal by Chin’ono’s lawyer Beatrice that the investigative journalist be freed from leg irons.
