A man was Tuesday night feared abducted soon after threatening to leak the details of ministers who are involved in a car rental scandal.

It was just 13 hours before when Nickson Mpofu had posted saying in full:

” As promised, tomorrow i will be publishing names of Ministers who are working in cahoots with car rental companies to loot govt coffers.
One minister leased 8 cars to one prominent car rental located along Chiremba road in Harare.

All his cars for the past 12 months are being rented by different departments in his ministry. The ministry has a large pool of cars and CMED is also providing them with cars but preference is being given to renting these cars…Every month minister vakutora lots of buck.

At the time of broadcasting, ZimEye was at pains to establish his whereabouts just as his phone continuously failed to go through.

At around 10 p.m. he had posted saying, “I am in danger …People claiming to be police officers are at my house.. I have locked myself inside…”
