MDC Alliance national youth organiser, Godfrey Kurauone is set to appear at the Masvingo Magistrate’s Court today charged with undermining President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s authority.
Kurauone, is also Masvingo Urban Ward Four councillor.
Kurauone, a councillor for seven years, was arrested for breaking Covid-19 lockdown rules after he mobilised and fed homeless people in Masvingo on June 15, 2020, the day Mnangagwa called for a national day of fasting.
Kurauone is being represented by Advocate Martin Mureri.
