The Bigger Picture- Zanu PF working from an answer to destroy MDC Alliance.
By Mafirakureva | Following the rigged elections of July 31 2018 by Emmerson Mnangagwa, Zanu PF has failed to rig the economy. Since 2018 Zanu PF has not fulfilled a single election promise. From “Zimbabwe is open for business”, Electricity to the people, employment, better education to good health delivery system, the situation is getting worse and worse. Whilst the economy has totally collapsed, nothing is functional and Zimbabwe is on auto-pilot as we speak.
The Judiciary system is captured as dissenting voices are silenced and jailed for criticising the government. Draconian laws are being enacted as Zanu PF intensifies its efforts to destroy the strongest and biggest opposition political party MDC Alliance. All this heading to a one party state with a sweetheart Opposition party MDC T.
The scandalous SC judgement that was deemed moot and overtaken by events was crafted to dismember the MDC Alliance. In fact it is Nelson Chamisa who is being targeted because he refused to recognise Mnangagwa as a legitimate President and refused to join their POLAD which they continued with Khupe and other 2018 Presidential candidates and it didn’t work that’s why they turned to their plan B – which is the SC judgement.
The narrative of fake abductions is something that MDC should take seriously. Zanu PF has set an agenda that MDC Alliance is behind these fake abductions. The accusations of senior MDC Alliance leadership that they are working with the ferrets is leading to fulfillment of their agenda. Whilst some MDC A members have been entangled into believing this agenda it’s a score to Zanu PF. This is how Zanu PF is going to convince the international community that it’s not them who are abducting people but MDC Alliance. MDC A should be careful and open their eyes before they score their own goal. At the end of it all it is Chamisa who is going to be pinned just like what they did to Tsvangirai on the Ari Ben Menashe issue.
The saddest thing is that even some MDC A supporters and structures have swallowed this Zanu PF hogwash propaganda, hook line and sinker. Unlike in the Ben Menashe issue where Zanu was part of the plot. This time Zanu PF is watching from a distance enjoying its plot thickening as MDC A sets itself on fire.
On 30 July, Tendai Masotsha was assaulted by a team of ferrets together with student activist Tawanda Muchehiwa. She is now being punished by MDC-A. Thokozani Khupe laughs as MDC A has never held a press conference to condemn either the ferrets, or Impala Car Rental, now they hold one against their own member way before the full story is known.
Monday is D Day, a conviction of Masotsha in the Bulawayo abduction case of Muchehiwa will be evidence that Zanu PF has been waiting for. An exoneration will also set the internet on fire as key board activists, G40 proponents and other internet trolls will go on overdrive attacking Nelson Chamisa. The Bulawayo province which obliviously has led the charge and providing Zanu PF with the evidence it so much need will also erupt.
It’s going to be interesting! I will take my popcorn and watch from the terraces like Zanu PF as all the attention will be diverted from the people that abducted and physically assaulted Muchehiwa to the MDC A. Meanwhile the country burns, looting continues and Zanu PF plots the next abduction.
