Tinashe Sambiri|Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume is being persecuted for exposing rampant corruption in the Zanu PF structures, MDC Alliance Youth Assembly Gift Ostallos Siziba has said.

Siziba urged the nation to stand in solidarity with political activists who are being persecuted by Mr Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration.

Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume is in prison. He is being persecuted for exposing the regime.

I gather there’s chaos in town house.
I stand in solidarity with Jacob for the regime is coming for all of us, if we don’t speak out no one will.

Don’t be misled by the regime’s faceless troglodytes that the mayor is corrupt- it’s a simple narrative to strike moral equivalence between Zanu PF and the alternative.

What a shame!
