By A Correspondent- Senator Douglas Mwonzora has declared that the MDC T congress is going ahead despite his arch contenders in the presidential race Dr Thokozani Khupe and Engineer Elias Mudzuri trashing the current voters’ roll being used at the MDC T congress.

Mwonzora revealed this in an exclusive interview with ZimEye and he said:

“The congress is going ahead.”

Mwonzora’s sentiments come after the voting process for Bulawayo province was shelved after it emerged that there was a ballot book that went missing.

There was chaos at the Harare International conference centre where the MDC T is holding its congress after prominent party people like David Tekeshe who is Manicaland Treasurer General had his name missing in the voters’ roll.

The party is currently using a supplementary voters roll with names of those missing from the main one.
