Heroes Acre

By A Correspondent | Emmerson Mnangagwa’s deputy, Constantino Chiwenga has bounced back to work and tomorrow heads straight to heroes acre, ZimEye is told.

Last week Chiwenga was ordered off work having become visibly unwell and Mnangagwa’s spokesperson revealed that this was following a family struggle with COVID which cut short the lives of several members. Following that, the Children Of War Veterans NGO announced saying he swiftly flew to China for treatment. Mnangagwa’s spokesperson George Charamba later issued a statement denying that report. Charamba had however mentioned that there was a truly family struggle with COVID which affected Chiwenga.

Chiwenga will bury the three ZANU PF leaders who include Sibusiso Moyo and Biggie Matiza, the government spokesman Ndabaningi Mangwana announced Tuesday.

He said: “The burials of our three departed National Heroes will take place from 0900 tomorrow 27 January 2021.

“The Acting President, General (Rtd) Dr. CGDN Chiwenga will preside.”
