Tinashe Sambiri|After failing to silence MDC Alliance vice chairperson Hon Job Sikhala, Emmerson Mnangagwa is now plotting to charge the fearless politician with rape, it has emerged.

In a tweet at the weekend, Hon Sikhala warned veteran journalist Hopewell Chin’ono that Mnangagwa is plotting to charge targeted political foes with rape.

“Liberty and freedom cannot be manufactured. So is power. It requires citizens coalescing around common issues that affect all of us as a people. Only the people are ultimate owners of power. Power is not owned by individuals or a coterie around the throne of power.

The paradox in our country is the grievances question.

1) Corruption
2) Economic mismanagement, plunder and looting of the same
3) Security of persons. Arrests, abductions, torture and a myriad of human rights abuses
4) Citizens rights to elect leaders of their own choice.

I am informed that some concocted rape charges are coming. This will not only affect me but other citizens classified as state enemies. Beware
