South African President Ramaphosa To Openly Take COVID-19 Vaccine

JOHANNESBURG – President Cyril Ramaphosa and Health Minister Zweli Mkhize have announced they will join healthcare workers to receive the first of South Africa’s COVID-19 vaccines.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine arrived in the country Tuesday night.
The South African Medical Association (SAMA) says the vaccine will be administered at 17 sites.
Some healthcare workers should receive their jabs on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Health Department reported 1,210 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.
