By A Correspondent| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has announced a donation of 75 000 vaccines from India taking the total number of vaccinations to 275 000 including 200 000 delivered from China early this week.

Posting on Twitter this morning, Mnangagwa said India has also offered Zimbabwe an opportunity to buy more vaccines moving forward.

“We are grateful to our Indian friends for committing to donate 75,000 COVID vaccines and for the opportunity to buy more moving forward. We are working tirelessly to obtain sufficient vaccines so we can overcome this virus and revive our economy,” said Mnangagwa.

Zimbabwe is yet to announce a massive vaccination program. Besides donated vaccines, there seems to be no other plan in place to procure the life saving drug.
