The MDC Alliance Assembly of Women would like to congratulate the National Spokesperson of the party, Adv Fadzayi Mahere, for being recognized as one of the Iconic Women of the last decade in Zimbabwe.

Adv Mahere was named alongside various influential women from different walks of life who defined the last decade in the fight for equality, feminism and women’s rights.

The announcement was made by Business Connect who celebrated the International Women’s Day by acknowledging the economic, social, political and cultural achievements of women in various spheres of influence.

We are proud to have Adv Mahere as part of our movement. She has displayed a high level of professionalism and capacity by articulating pertinent issues and speaking eloquently on behalf of the party and the people of Zimbabwe.

She is an inspiration and role model to many. We believe in her and wish her well in all her endeavours.

She has demonstrated that glass ceilings can easily be broken and the sky is the limit. We are proud to be associated with this tine achievement.

We are grateful to the People’s President, Adv Nelson Chamisa, for having faith and trust in appointing Adv Mahere.
