By James Gwati-Vice President Constantino Chiwenga at the weekend paraded Chilonga traditional leadership and ordered them to order local villagers to accept his government’s anti-development grass project.

Chiwenga’s visit to Chilonga followed resistance by local villagers to pave way for a grass keeping project which the government wanted to give to a so-called investor.

“More empowerment projects are coming here, that is Chilonga Two and Chilonga Three. Again the Government is in the process of making sure that each district in the country gets at least 200 hectares under irrigation, and we expect everyone to benefit in the agriculture value chain,” Chiwenga told village heads on Sunday.
