Tinashe Sambiri|MDC Alliance national spokesperson Advocate Fadzayi Mahere has mocked the Zanu PF leader Emmerson Mnangagwa for getting excited about township donations.

Zanu PF has been presenting low key programmes as proof of resounding success of the so called new dispensation.

Analysts say Mr Mnangagwa is performing the duties of ward councillors and Members of Parliament.

Advocate Mahere argued:
“We must move away from the politics of “officially opening” basic necessities such as taps, toilets, buses and roads…

These services must be a given for taxpayers. Let’s raise our expectations. Vote for a Govt where serving the people is not exceptional…”

She also paid tribute to health workers who have succumbed to COVID-19 since 2020.

“Today, we join the medical profession in commemorating all the healthcare workers that have passed away due to COVID-19.

We are grateful for their service to communities in these challenging times. Let’s all join the minute of silence at noon.

May they all rest in peace…”
