A 26-year-old woman is fighting for her life after being stabbed multiple times by her boyfriend in Kempton Park.

The altercation turned violent, prompting community members to intervene and restrain the 30-year-old suspect.

He has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.

The victim is receiving medical treatment at Thembisa Tertiary Hospital.
