Italian Serie A giants AS Roma have reportedly entered the fray to sign Jordan Zemura, the Zimbabwean left-back currently plying his trade with Udinese.
According to Italian daily Leggo, Roma are closely monitoring Zemura’s progress, with the aim of bringing him to the Stadio Olimpico during the current transfer season.
Zemura, who is in his second year of a contract that expires in June 2027, has caught the attention of Roma’s scouts, who believe he would be an ideal backup for Angelino in the left-back position.
This development comes hot on the heels of reports last month that AC Milan were also interested in signing Zemura, with the Rossoneri viewing him as a potential backup for Theo Hernandez.
As the interest in Zemura continues to grow, it remains to be seen whether Roma will formalize their interest in the Zimbabwean left-back with a concrete offer. However, one thing is clear – Zemura is increasingly in demand among Italy’s top clubs.
