The internal strife within Zanu PF continues to escalate, with the Women’s League boss, Marbel Chinomona, delivering a fierce rebuke to war veteran Blessed Geza.

This comes after Geza publicly criticized President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s push for a third term, accusing him of violating the country’s constitution.

Geza had openly dismissed the idea of Mnangagwa extending his presidency, challenging the Zanu PF leader for his disregard of constitutional principles.

However, the ruling party’s Women’s League and female ministers rallied behind the President’s vision for 2030, asserting their commitment to ensuring Mnangagwa remains in power until the end of his term in line with his Vision to create an upper-middle-income society.

This was reaffirmed at a meeting in Harare on Friday, where the Zanu PF Women’s League and female ministers gathered to discuss opportunities to empower women in the country.

Marbel Chinomona, the ZANU PF Secretary for Women’s Affairs, firmly stated, “We will not be frightened by those war veterans who lack discipline and go against ZANU PF ideology to respect and tow the party line. We want to send a clear message that as women, we constitute over 52 percent of the country and we are fully behind the party resolution that President Mnangagwa will be in office until 2030.”
