By A Correspondent| Outspoken Zanu PF member and former PetroTrade board chairperson, Tinomudaishe Chinyoka, has taken a rare stance against government ministers and President Emmerson Mnangagwa, accusing them of failing the country.

His scathing remarks came in response to a viral image showing a patient who survived a road traffic accident with a fractured hand wrapped in a makeshift cardboard box instead of proper medical plaster.

Chinyoka took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his outrage, describing the incident as a symbol of the country’s crumbling healthcare system.

“There are people that will wake up tomorrow morning to go to their offices claiming that they are ‘running a country,’” he wrote.

He further lambasted high-ranking government officials, including ministers, permanent secretaries, and Members of Parliament, for turning a blind eye to the dire state of public healthcare facilities while enjoying luxury lifestyles.

“Some will wake up tomorrow to put on suits and drive or be driven in top-of-the-range Toyotas claiming to be Ministers or Permanent Secretaries. Some even in the @ZimTreasury. Some as MPs. Truth to tell, our politicians, top to bottom, from HE to the smallest opposition MP, should be ashamed of this. Because this, right here, is the definition of failure,” Chinyoka wrote.
