Who the heck was that woman? And how come no ambulance was called to take her to St Francis hospital. Zvemashavi ndizvo zvinodzorera mumashure ala diesel style. If the court was already in session that woman should have been charged with contempt ‘kuita ruzha mudare redzimhosva’

What a fool. There is no Zim language; indeed any other African language apart from Afrikaans that is usable as a medium of instruction in education institutions. That is why in Zim and many other African countries we use English. In other African countries they use French as a medium of instruction and as such educated people in these countries automatically can speak and write French.
If you cant write English in Zimbabwe; its clear you never went to school; or at least you never went far with schooling and you are most likely uneducated. Most well educated Zimbabweans don’t struggle with writing or speaking English. Only the half baked educated ones struggle.
In fact, I have noticed that most Shonas posting on Zim web sites are the post 1980 born-frees; the majority now are post 1990 who have been through Mugabe’s ZIMSEC education system that emphasises Shona and not the previous Cambridge system. Most of them cant express themselves in proper English – hence they prefer Gukurahundi. They are not marketable internationally because Gukurahundi is useless internationally. Their tenses, sentence construction is shit, if you ask me.
Why do you think Mugabe and his Ministers send their children to private schools where English is emphasised rather than Shona? That Shona is for you ignorant imbeciles so that you can be fanatic about supporting him. Only stupid people get abused by politicians who woo them through cultural identities and spirit mediums. That is why Mugabe used Nehanda during the struggle – he knew he would get you by the balls and that is where he beat Joshua Nkomo.
Even King Mswati is holding the Swati nation at ransom by the balls because he uses cultural pride to get a hold on them.
Politicians will dress up nicely in Western suits and drive in huge state imported Mercedes Benzes to address rural Shonas like you who are poor, and are dressed in animal skins to tell them KEEP YOUR CULTURE AND LANGUAGE.
After that they head back to town to their cushy mansions where they and their children and wives are busy sipping expensive imported wines and spirits; and watching DSTV American movies while they force you to watch ZBC and its boring Gukurahundi music and news praising them for a non existent job well done!!!!

Writing in English does not mean u went to school, its other people’s language just like SHONA and your…whatever is your native language. A fool like you would think all the whitemen in Europe are educated because they speak in English, but alas. Russians, Japaneese, Germans and many more have Phds in their native language, not your simple english u learn from the old white people u bath. the way u speak shows you are only educated to be able to take instructions from your masters-the olds, literally u a by far not educated. Wake up from your slumber, and stop your barking

This nyika nyika business is irritating; especially when they start talking in terms of sprit mediums, ancestors, Nehanda etc. That is trying to define our country around only the Shona identity- which is typically Gukurahundi ZANLA/ZANU since the days in Mozambique.
That country is not for Shonas only. Its a multicultural multitribal country; therefore it cant be defined around the Shonas only. I dont know what the nationalists of old, Joshua Nkomo, the Mawemas of this world were thinking; the name “Zimbabwe” is very misleading. It has to be changed. We need a neutral name.
The Swahili language is acceptable in East Africa to the majority of people there because its not borrowed from any domineering tribe. We need a Khoisan name for the country, not Shona. They have become irritatingly arrogant.

kkkkkkkk there was something called a Zimbabwe state? kkkkk LOL dont make me laugh. Modern statehood came with the European colonialists Mr. There were no states in Africa. That is why there was never any marked borders anywhere and there are no records or maps of such anywhere in Africa and in the world. You are just confirming the fact that you moved into what you now call Zimbabwe – so you agree, the land was never yours in the first place. You didn’t just drop from the heavens above to own the land between the two rivers like many of you love to pretend. You moved into other people’s lands like all of us, whites included. Period. Case closed!!!

You are Shona. Your name is “Shona”. That means your mother called you “Shona” because your father was Shona.
what history taught you that Shonas don’t belong here? Anyway just to briefly correct you, the generally accepted sequence of historical events is that after the major Bantu migrations of around 7th century BC and subsequent settlement of southern Africa, the group you call Shonas were settled in Zoutpansberg area as part of the larger Kalanga group of people. They moved north again to repopulate the central plateau and the surroundings environs now called Zimbabwe. This northern movement circa 5th century AD culminated much later in the Zimbabwe state before it’s decline before the Portuguese came to southern Africa. This is from archaeological records and place names and linguistic studies. Hence you have Mapungubwe in SA and other places in Botswana with Kalanga/Karanga names. I hope with the above I have opened your mind to true Bantu History as it relates to the people now called Shonas.
As to your questioning why Shonas invoke Shona spirits when their country is troubled I do not know of a people who would cry to the spirits of strangers to find solace in times of trouble.
Umugondoyi lahlanya
UMgodoyi la mutu
Why do Shonas behave as if the struggle was all about them? Tongogara spirit – what is that? There are many tribes who have leaders who died in the struggle – why Tongogara? The land between the two rivers is not a Shona entity – I just dont know why Shonas want to link it to their ancestors, instead of consulting Khoisan ancestors. Shona spirits are in Tanzania and Burundi. Not here in Southern Africa. Twisted history. Every time Nyika Nyika Tonga Tonga – rubbish – go back!!
Gukurahundi language is career limiting. Nobody knows anything about it in this world. Try English!
You can also attend evening English classes. You will avoid this Gukurahundi language!

Gukurahundi is for the primitive and uneducated. Go to school for English lessons!
Tongogara wanted unity with Nkomo. Mugabe wanted disunity for tribal reasons. Shonas supported Mugabe against Tongogara and Nkomo.
Do Shonas have any morals? What sort of values do they live by?
