Staff Reporter | A Greyhound bus driver is reported to have been crushed to death under the bus while attending to a puncture.
The driver identified by friends on site as Mr Bongani Mpofu of Bulawayo was crushed by the bus while under the bus when a jack failed and brought the bus down on him.
A border official said the man was later pulled out by other travellers and taken to Beitbridge district hospital where he died upon admission.
Details of the accident are still sketchy and more information will be made available as it comes through.
