By Terrence Mawawa|  Former President Robert Mugabe’s son in law Simba Chikore is said to have done a runner and is now living in the far east, sources say.

Intelligence sources claimed Chikore is keeping one of his children in Singapore.

“He left Zim a long time ago after his resignation, ” a highly placed source said adding that he is in Singapore and spending time in the far East.

His legal safety is likely more flaky now after his father in law, Robert Mugabe clashed with President Emmerson Mnangagwa and mother in law, Grace was soon afterwards slapped with a police investigation for alleged ivory smuggling.

Chikore, who had up to November last year been Air Zimbabwe’s acting CEO after the airline’s boss Ripton Muzenda was fired, swiftly himself stepped down just before the army put his in-law parents under house arrest on the 15th November last year.

Chikore had by November created more enemies when he clashed with Muzenda over the decision to fire more than 200 workers. Muzenda opposed the resolution, said to have been board level.
