By Paul Nyathi|Surprisingly President Emmerson Mnangagwa does not know when the national elections will be held.
Mnangagwa himself declared that elections will be held on the 30th of July this year but it had to take the help of some ZANU PF members to remind him of the date when he repeatedly said elections will be held on the 31st of December this year.
Addressing a ZANU PF rally in Masvingo on Friday, a very confused Mnangagwa on more than two occasions urged ZANU PF supporters to vote for him and the party “on December 31” until his party members corrected him. AUDIO BELOW:
Social media critics have come hard on the President with some claiming that he sounded like someone who might have been drunk as he giggled at his own mistake and appeared unmoved on the unexpected mishap.
