Terrence Mawawa|Residents of the city of Masvingo have accused Zanu PF leader Emmerson Mnangagwa of lying to the entire nation about the reopening of Mashava Mine and the Cold Storage Commission(CSC).

In his campaign messages Mnangagwa claimed his government had facilitated the reopening of Mashava Mine and CSC.

Speaking at a public dialogue facilitated by the Zimbabwe Council of Churches in Masvingo, the residents further accused Mnangagwa of unleashing state terror on hapless civilians.

“Mnangagwa lied to the whole nation about the reopening of CSC and Mashava Mine.Both institutions remain closed and this effectively Mnangagwa is an insincere leader,” said one resident.

“Mr Mnangagwa must apologize to the nation for making false promises,” said another resident.
