Terrence Mawawa|A 64- year-old paedophile has been arrested for licking an Early Childhood Development(ECD) pupil’s private parts.

Tovakara Dozimbabwe of Mutanda Village, Chief Negove, Zvishavane appeared before Zvishavane Magistrate Archie Wochiunga and he was charged with contravening Section 67(1) (a) of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Chapter 9:23.

The court heard that on January 21 2018 Dozimbambwe asked the minor to escort him to his house and she complied.

As the two were walking towards Dozimbabwe’ s homestead, the accused ordered the minor to lie on the ground. He removed her underwear and licked her private parts.He also inserted his fingers into the minor’s private parts.

The minor narrated the incident to her sister who reported the matter to the police, leading to Dozimbabwe’ s arrest.Trial will continue next week.
