By Own Correspondent| Addressing leaders of opposition parties at State house in Harare in Wednesday at the inaugural post election dialogue of political parties, President Emmerson Mnangagwa said Zimbabwe needs to implement key reforms first as a way of promoting investment.
Mnangagwa called on Zimbabweans to unite and proffer ideas in how best to make the country an attractive ibvestment destination for the good of the country.
He said:
Whatever our political affiliation none of us can ever thrive in an environment of poverty and economic stagnation. We have to revive and grow our economy in order to create durable livelihoods and employment especially for our youths. We have abundant resources and an educated and dedicated workforce. With unity at home and successful reengagement abroad, Zimbabwe is an attractive destination for domestic and foreign direct investment. Admittedly, there are key reforms which we need to embark upon which is where all of us come in to profer ideas both for reforms and to make ourselves more attractive for investments. I challenge all of us to come up with ideas thaf can take our country forward.
