A Kadoma Central district chairperson and Ward 2 Councillor Michael Gore has been sentenced 3 years in prison for public violence on trumped up public violence charges.
MDC Parliamentary Chief Whip, Hon Prosper Mutseyami together with Cllr Sophie Gwasira Njanike, Clr Dan Saunyama, Leader Angeline Maunde and Leader Tapiwa Saunyama today managed to visit and see 11 Mutare residents who are in prison at Mutare Remand Prison on frivolous charges of causing public violence.
Meanwhile, the National Chairperson, Hon Thabitha Khumalo was today denied access to see detainees, again on trumped up charges of causing public violence, at Mlondolozi Women Prison and were advised to apply to see them at the Provincial offices at Mhlahlandlela, in Bulawayo.
