Farai Dziva|The Warriors might fail to fulfil their World Cup qualifier against Somalia next week.

Former ZIFA official Lazarus Mhurushomana approached the courts, seeking to recover a compensation package of $518,331.81 which he is owed by the association following his dismissal in 2004.Insiders say this is likely to affect the Warriors’ trip to Djibouti.

ZIFA has until Monday to pay the money.

Zimbabwe play Somalia in Djibouti in the first leg of a 2022 World Cup preliminary round qualifier, while the Young Warriors travel to South Africa for an Under 23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
