Jane Mlambo| Opposition MDC Secretary General Charlton Hwende has come under fire over his visit to the Zimbabwe Embassy in Germany with the latest criticism coming from former Tourism minister Walter Mzembi who said the Kuwadzana East legislator’s move was ‘strange’.

Responding to Hwende’s tweet, Mzembi said the visit cannot be reconciled as an Ambassador is “the President outside the country, charging that the MDC cannot choose to recognise Mnangagwa outside the country and recognise him in the country.”

The MDC has refused to recognize Mnangagwa citing the 2018 general elections which they claim were rigged.
