Jane Mlambo| The estranged wife of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, Marry Mubaiwa’s latest freedom bid has a hit a snag and will spend more time behind bars after the High Court judge Webster Chinamora reserved judgement in a case in which she is seeking bail.

Mubaiwa Chikurubi who was arrested almost three weeks on charges of corruption, misrepresentation and money laundering is currently detained at Chikurubi female prison.

Chinamora indefinitely reserved judgement on the matter meaning Marry Mubaiwa will spend an indefinite period behind bars.

Yesterday, there were reports that she had been taken to hospital due to illness and she later appeared at the Harare Magistrates Court with bandages on her hands.
