Own Correspondent|Zimbabwe Revenue Authority and police at Forbes Border post in Mutare have intercepted over two tonnes of Mbanje at the Forbes Border Post in Mutare on Thursday afternoon.

The Mbanje was packed in 92 bags weighing a total 2134kg.

The loot was discovered in a truck coming from Malawi and the truck has since been impounded at the border.

The driver of the truck fled after being intercepted.
