COVID-19 Numbers Rising Again
20 February 2021
By A Correspondent| Zimbabwe has for the third day running, recorded over 100 cases in what looks like another surge in numbers.
Yesterday, Zimbabwe recorded 167 cases after 120 and 108 people tested positive on Thursday and Wednesday respectively.
Government extended the Covid-19 national lockdown by a further two weeks to the 1st of March in a move many said was irresponsible and harsh but with the numbers creeping back, they will vindicated over their decision.

The cumulative total number of positive cases recorded since the beginning of the pandemic are 35710 and 1430 deaths.
Recovery rate stands at 89.5 percent.
