By Dorrothy Moyo | ZimEye | The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) are appealing to the public for information following the murder of Innocent Chisero, 44, whose body was discovered on a mountain near Mutsenhu Village in Nyamukoho, Mudzi, on October 14, 2024.

Chisero, who was last seen in the company of his girlfriend on October 9, was reportedly attacked by two unidentified suspects. Police have indicated that the attack, which involved the victim being struck with stones, may be linked to accusations of an extramarital affair involving a married woman.

The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Chisero’s murder and are asking anyone with information to come forward and assist in their inquiries. The motive behind the killing appears to be tied to allegations of infidelity, adding a possible layer of motive to the brutal attack.

Authorities are urging anyone with details about the incident or those responsible to report to the nearest police station.
