A tragic incident has unfolded in Matemazondo Village, Nembudziya, Gokwe, where a 41-year-old father, Trymore Hora, has been arrested for the murder of his 14-year-old son, Chalton Hora.

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the incident occurred on December 23, 2024, when Trymore Hora accused his son of raping his 2-year-old daughter.

In a fit of rage, Hora allegedly assaulted Chalton with a sjambok, striking him indiscriminately all over his body.

The victim began vomiting shortly after the assault and tragically passed away on December 24, 2024.

The ZRP has since taken Trymore Hora into custody in connection with the murder case.
