Biti Rekindles $15m Retirement Claim
By A Correspondent- MDC vice-president Tendai Biti has rekindled his $15 million retirement claim against First Mutual Holdings Limited (FMH) after the insurance company said it would only pay him less than what was agreed upon reaching the retirement age of 60.
Initially, Biti dragged FMH to court over the same issue in August this year, but the matter was not pursued further culminating in the present lawsuit.
In summons filed at the High Court this week, the Harare East opposition MP said in 1993 while he was a partner with Honey and Blanckenberg, his pension contributions were with his consent converted by FMH into an annuity policy.

Met Department Warns Citizens To Prepare For Violent Storms
By A Correspondent- Citizens have been urged to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, in excess of 50 millimetres in 24 hours coupled with hail, strong winds and lightning starting from today.
Manicaland, Matabeleland South, Masvingo and southern areas of Midlands could be the most seriously affected according to the Meteorological Services Department (MSD)’s forecast. Rains will be accompanied by strong winds, lightning, hail and flash flooding.
The uprooting of trees and damage to infrastructure cannot be ruled out.
Drains may fail to cope in urban or built-up settings while visibility may be compromised especially for drivers, during the heavy downpours.
While Manicaland, Matabeleland South, Masvingo, as well as southern areas of Midlands Province are forecast to receive heavy rains today similar conditions will spread northward tomorrow.
“Thereafter, the rains should steadily ease off giving way to bright and showery conditions in most areas, with a possibility of localised heavier falls over Mashonaland East into northern parts of Manicaland,” said the MSD in a statement.
According to the MSD, insecure home roofs, schools and shopping centres could be blown off by strong winds while asbestos roofing could be perforated by hail in some instances, potentially endangering occupants.
The public has been advised to avoid being caught outdoors during the heavy storms, more so at night, when flood waters are difficult to see.
MSD has advised people to avoid crossing flooded rivers and swollen streams where the depth is unknown. “The Department will continue monitoring the conditions and update the public accordingly. The public is also being requested to provide feedback or information on disasters through the Department’s Twitter, WhatsApp or Facebook page,” said the MSD.
Zimbabwe has been experiencing heavy falls in most parts of the country resulting in the deaths of six people now while property and crops have also been destroyed.
With more violent storms and associated high winds, hailstorms and flash floods likely, the MSD will now issue more detailed impact-based weather information to reduce injuries to the public and damage to infrastructure.
The forecast will now give customised information on the weather event, the time frame, mapping, possible preventive measures or how to manage, if the event cannot be avoided.
Reports will also give case studies of where it happened in the past and how it was managed.
The start of the rainy season has been marked by more violent storms than usual for this time of the year, largely as a result of the extra energy pumped into the atmosphere during the recent spell of record heatwaves.
This has led to bursts of very high winds, caused by downflows from the storm clouds, that have ripped off roofs, uprooted trees, and injured people with flying debris.
There has already been damage to electricity lines by falling trees and other infrastructure damage. Lightning, as with every season, is a danger for unprotected people, livestock and electric installations. Intense downpours have caused flash flooding, when run-off exceeds the capacity of the land to absorb the rainfall or when storm water drains are inadequate.
The Met Department is now giving the public the forecast of the weather event, largely storms at this time of the year, its causes, when it is likely to occur, how it will happen, dangers associated with the phenomenon and what the public should do to protect themselves.
Specific weather information is also given for the agriculture sector, aviation and those in seismology (dealing with earthquakes). There are efforts by the MSD to also incorporate the mining, water and health sectors. The MSD is working on an agreement with the national broadcaster, ZBC, to ensure that when there is threatening weather the announcement will override any other programmes and be published instantly. The recent violent storms have already killed one person, injured several others and damaged infrastructure and property in many parts of the country.
The MSD issued advisories of these isolated events informing the public of the thunderstorms.
In an interview on Monday MSD principal meteorologist, Mr James Ngoma said the energy created by the high temperatures was transformed when extra moisture came into the atmosphere, resulting in lightning, strong winds, hailstorms and sharp intense downpours.
He said as the rainfall season progresses, the country will be faced with the threat of flash floods since the ground will be saturated. Urban areas will also see such flash floods, because so much ground is built over, if drains are not kept clear and properly maintained. These early season storms have also brought high rainfall to some areas.
Kwekwe received 132mm in 24 hours, Chibero 57mm, Chivi 72mm and Binga 51mm. Mr Ngoma said these were isolated incidents that were not localised.
“For the past days we have experienced strong winds that destroyed roofs and damaged properties. Lightning affects people, livestock, buildings and electrical infrastructure.
“Flash flooding occurred in Buhera, Kwekwe, Masvingo and Lupane among some areas. We had given advisories of the potential of lightning and the sharp downpours. When it’s localised we give specific warnings,” he said.
Mr Ngoma said for advisories, the department gives daily forecasts. “We have gone beyond weather information. We now give the impact. Giving the effects of the weather for instance the violence associated with the storms, heat stroke that may affect people due to high temperatures, for frost we give the damage that may be caused to crops. We are trying to drive this forward.
“We are not ending at the forecast but the impact of the forecast. We urge the public to read the whole forecast. We are now giving colour coded format, giving the pictorial advisory that is eye catching and captivating to the audience,” he said.
Mr Ngoma said they give their weather updates on television, Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter.
“For viewers in remote areas who cannot access that data, we are still giving them information through the radio or in text format. We disseminate information in different channels. We work with the ZBC using their radio stations,” he said.
“We are also working closely with the Department of Civil Protection (DCP) as they have structures from ward level to disseminate information.”
Mr Ngoma said farmers receive a rainfall bulletin, an agromet bulletin which is realised in 10 days and gives a forecast that helps farmers prepare and plan, and a 10 day seasonal forecast. Farmers also get a monthly update of the forecast.

Chasi Reappoints Mugabe’s Brother In Law As ZESA Executive Chairman
Correspondent|Minister, advocate Fortune Chasi has, in consultation with President Emmerson Mnangagwa appointed Dr Sydney Zikuzo Gata the brother-in-law of the late former president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe as the Executive Chairman of ZESA Holdings.
Surprisingly, Gata was fired from the same parastatal and was given a package in 2006. See statement revealing Gata’s appointment.
Jose Mourinho Takes Over At Tottenham

Metro|Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed Jose Mourinho as their new manager, replacing Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss has signed a deal until the end of the 2022/23 season with Spurs and will be in charge for the Premier League clash with West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.
A club statement read: ‘We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jose Mourinho as Head Coach on a contract that runs until the end of the 2022/23 season.
‘Jose is one of the world’s most accomplished managers having won 25 senior trophies. He is renowned for his tactical prowess and has managed FC Porto, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United. ‘He has won a domestic title in a record four different countries (Portugal, England, Italy and Spain) and is one of only three managers to have won the UEFA Champions League twice with two clubs, FC Porto in 2004 and Inter Milan in 2010. He is also a three-time Premier League Champion with Chelsea (2005, 2006, 2015).
Chairman Daniel Levy said: ‘In Jose we have one of the most successful managers in football. He has a wealth of experience, can inspire teams and is a great tactician. He has won honours at every club he has coached. We believe he will bring energy and belief to the dressing room.’
Mourinho added: ‘I am excited to be joining a Club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters. The quality in both the squad and the academy excites me. Working with these players is what has attracted me.’
Spurs confirmed the departure of Pochettino on Tuesday night, with chairman Levy saying: ‘We were extremely reluctant to make this change and it is not a decision the Board has taken lightly, nor in haste,’ a statement read.
‘Regrettably domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing. Mauricio Pochettino took over at Spurs in May 2014
‘It falls to the Board to make the difficult decisions – this one made more so given the many memorable moments we have had with Mauricio and his coaching staff – but we do so in the Club’s best interests. ‘Mauricio and his coaching staff will always be part of our history. I have the utmost admiration for the manner in which he dealt with the difficult times away from a home ground whilst we built the new stadium and for the warmth and positivity he brought to us. I should like to thank him and his coaching staff for all they have contributed. They will always be welcome here. ‘We have a talented squad. We need to re-energise and look to deliver a positive season for our supporters.’

Ecobank: “Our Hands Are Clean.”

State Media|The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe’s Financial Intelligence Unit is investigating the Ecobank Zimbabwe customer pictured with the $15 000 in new notes that he had withdrawn from the bank, to establish if the money was sold on the parallel market or paid to dairy farmers as he promised the bank he would do.
The picture of the bundles of cash allocated to the customer circulated widely on social media, drawing sharp criticism of ordinary depositors struggling to access $100 per day.
In a statement yesterday, Ecobank said the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) conducted investigations into alleged diversion of cash to the parallel market but had cleared Ecobank.
“The investigations by the FIU have shown that Ecobank complied with the regulatory processes in disbursing the $15 000 cash in question. This amount was intended for purposes of procuring milk from small-scale producers by a client of the bank.
“Investigations are now centred on the client to ascertain if the funds were used for the indicated and intended purposes, and the existence of any criminal activity on the part of our client,” said the bank.
Ecobank said it was committed to consistently adhering to the highest standards of regulatory compliance and governance and “will always co-operate fully with the regulatory authorities”.
“We will continue to play our part in providing solutions that contribute to the stability of the economy,” said Ecobank.
Ecobank and CBZ Bank were fingered by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) for allowing their customers to withdraw large sums of money.
The CBZ customer got $44 180.
CBZ said its investigations established that the transaction was “authorised” as betting shop paying out a big winner, in coins.
While the two banks have absolved themselves, the RBZ has not yet issued further statements clearing them.
The ZRP last week said it was conducting joint investigations with the RBZ and once “we feel that we have anything that we want to advise the public, we will communicate approp- riately”.
Last week, Finance and Economic Development Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube praised the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) for its swift action after the two banks were alleged to have allowed two of their customers to withdraw large sums of cash.
AFCON Qualifiers Results: Ethiopia Shock Ivory Coast
Ethiopia under the guidance of local coach Abraham Mebratu, caused an upset in 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying with a 2-1 win over visiting Ivory Coast.
Also on Tuesday Morocco bounced back from being held at home by Mauritania with a 3-0 in Burundi.
Ivory Coast took an early lead in their Group K match against Ethiopia as captain Serge Aurier scored after just four minutes.
The Tottenham defender was the first to react after the Ethiopian keeper Abel Mamo was only able to parry a freekick from Max Gradel on the left.
The Ethiopians drew level 12 minutes later as a freekick from just outside the area from Surafel Dagnachew deflected off the head of an Ivorian in the wall to leave Sylvain Gbohouo wrong-footed as the ball went into the net.
They hosts took the lead on 26 minutes as Shimelis Bekele picked up the ball midway in the Ivorian half, as referee waved away claims of handball, he raced into the area and his shot found its way through Gboouhou and into the net.
Ivory Coast did have chances to find an equaliser including a free header that was put wide of the target in the dying seconds of the match.
The Elephants won their opening game 1-0 against Niger while Ethiopia had lost by the same scoreline in Madagascar.
Ajax defender Noussair Mazraoui scored his first ever goal for Morocco in their comfortable 3-0 win over Group E hosts Burundi.
Mazraoui was on target after 27 minutes when he squeezed the ball home when Burundi keeper Jonathan Nahimana was unable to hold onto a free kick fired in by Rachid Alioui.
Morocco’s second goal came five minutes before half-time and was also the result of poor defending.
An initial header from Youssef En Nesyri was well saved by Nahimana but the ball fell to Alioui who managed to cross into the six yard area and the keeper and defenders got in each others way to allow En Nesyri a simple finish.
Achraf Hakimi, on a two-year loan at Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid, sealed the win with eight minutes left as he picked up Sofyan Amrabat’s ball over the top, took two touches and fired across the keeper to make it 3-0.
The top two sides in 11 of the 12 groups will all advance to the 2021 finals in Cameroon.
Cameroon qualify for the finals as hosts but are taking part in the qualifying campaign to gain competitive match practice which means just one team from Group F will progress to the finals.

“Like It Or Not, No Woman Wearing Trousers Has Ever And Will Ever Enter Heaven” – Evangelist
Paul Nyathi|The controversy about the propriety or otherwise of women to wear trousers has resurfaced as a Nigerian evangelist has ‘set social media ablaze’ with his claim that women who wear trousers are not heaven-bound.
The unending argument has always been based on Deuteronomy 22:5 which reads: “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this.”
Meanwhile, some gender activists have said that women are at liberty to wear whatever pleases them regardless of what the Bible says.
The latest to have reignited the debate is a Nigerian Facebook user and evangelist Dapo Soyemi.
He resorted to his Facebook page to write: “No woman wearing trousers has ever and will ever enter heaven. Your objection cannot change the truth of God.”
Unsurprisingly, his post has since gone viral with many social media users agreeing and disagreeing with him.
Mnangagwa Can’t Believe He Got 6000 People At His Rally
PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa was on Saturday left a relieved man after thousands of people from Mashonaland East province thronged Mahusekwa Growth Point where he addressed a rally that coincided with the official opening of Mahusekwa District Hospital.
In the recent past, Mnangagwa had been forced to address a handful of people, with MDC feasting on the development which they claimed showed that he lacked legitimacy.
But, at the weekend, an estimated 6 000 people attended Mnangagwa’s rally, prompting the Zanu PF leader, who is facing a growing internal dissent to his rule, to grovel over the respectable attendance.
“I came here for the official opening of this hospital at the invitation of (Health) minister Obadiah Moyo but was told that the Zanu PF family wants to meet me. I want to thank you for the love you have exhibited. I also want to thank you for the massive numbers here,” Mnangagwa said.
Last month, Mnangagwa was forced to abandon addressing a rally in Bindura after a handful of people showed up.
He proceeded to officiate at a graduation ceremony at Bindura University of Science Education after State security details pulled down a podium mounted for him at the flopped rally. This was a month after the same Mashonaland Central snubbed his wife, First Lady Auxilia’s family fun day at Chipadze Stadium.
On October 25, the Zanu PF leader failed to attract masses to fill the giant 60 000-seater National Sports Stadium (NSS) for a march against sanctions imposed on the country by the West.
Only about 7 000 people attended the anti-sanctions march despite bountiful of buses and trains having been lined up to ferry people from across the country. The NSS attendance was ironically almost the same number of people the Zanu PF leader addressed in Mahusekwa. Zanu PF Mashonaland East youth league led by Kelvin Mutsvairo and political commissar Lincoln Matare were involved in mobilising party supporters to travel to Mahusekwa to meet Mnnagagwa.
Patrick Zhuwao Joins Chamisa, Writes To The South African Govt
By Patrick Zhuwao|I write to associate myself with Advocate Nelson Chamisa’s tweet welcoming South Africa and SADC’s mediation in Zimbabwe and his plea for a specific practical solution to set up a donor fund to address the crisis in Zimbabwe’s health sector.
Exactly two years ago to this day, on 19th November 2017, President Robert Mugabe finished his very last address to Zimbabwe and the world with the words “Iwe neni tine basa. Asante sana”. I wish to echo President Mugabe’s words and say “Asante sana”, thank you very much to you for convening the Zimbabwe Symposium and committing to practical action.
Your commitment to practical action is in line with President Mugabe’s exhortation of “Iwe neni tine basa”. That statement is literally translated in two ways to mean “you and I have a responsibility” and to mean “you and I are valuable”. I have always understood this liberation struggle exhortation as a combination of both meanings that calls everyone to action by emphasising our responsibility and value; a responsibility and value that is both individual and collective.
Similar to how Advocate Chamisa feels, I am also heartened by your correct diagnosis that the major problem in Zimbabwe is toxic politics. As an individual that has always been on the opposite side of the political divide from Advocate Chamisa, I am duty bound and obligated to demonstrate practical action by joining myself to Advocate Chamisa’s pleas for a “practical solution” to Zimbabwe’s current health crisis.
Honourable Minister, Zimbabwe, SADC and indeed Africa is endowed with illustrious sons and daughters who require the leadership that you and your government have demonstrated to assist us, as Zimbabweans, to go beyond our toxic politics and work together to stem the silent genocide in Zimbabwe’s health sector. By you and ayour government taking on board Advocate Chamisa’s specific suggestion, other non-political actors will feel emboldened to assist You will have innoculated Zimbabwe’s illustrious sons and daughters such as businessman Strive Masiyiwa, actress Danai Gurira, footballer Marvelous Nakamba from Zimbabwe’s toxic politics which is stopping citizens from taking responsibility and demonstrating their value to Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe, A Country Where Selling Cash Is Big Business
BBC Africa|In our series of letters from African writers, journalist-turned-barrister Brian Hungwe says the need for cash has not been eased by the release of new Zimbabwean dollar notes over the last week.
In Zimbabwe, cash is king.
You need notes in your hand to avoid paying a premium for goods.
This has come about because of a chronic shortage of physical cash – which has led to a three-tier pricing model.
For example, if you go into a supermarket to buy a 15 Zimbabwean dollar loaf of bread, you can pay:
- Z$15 in cash
- Z$18 in mobile money
- Z$20 by debit card.
You also need cash to pay for bus fares – electronic transactions are not accepted on public transport – and road-side vendors or some small grocery shops only take cash.
A family of five with children of school-going age will need Z$250 a week for transport.
Extra weekly cash costs for bread, tomatoes and sugar could tot up to about another Z$150.
Yet banks have been rationing cash withdrawals to Z$300 a week – and ATMs have been empty.
Often people have been waiting fruitlessly in bank queues as there has not been enough money to give out.
The cash crunch has led to a spike in inflation – it was running at 100% in June, when the local currency was officially reintroduced, and is now between 300% and 400%.
It has also led to a new term: “cash baron”.
These are the people who never seem to have problems getting hold of cash – and are also in part to blame for rising inflation.
They make money from people needing local cash or foreign currency notes.
A family that needs cash to get their children on to buses to go to school will look for a cash baron – or their acolytes – to buy the cash, often paying 30% more for the notes.
These money speculators tend to hang out in the centre of the capital, Harare, or in busy markets.
It is alleged the cash barons are able to get hold of notes because of corrupt relationships with some banks officials.
Last week, the bank queues began moving forward thanks to a new supply of Z$2 and Z$5 notes, worth about Z$30m, that were released by the central bank, although some banks were rationing daily withdrawals – not allowing people to take out their Z$300 weekly allowance in one go.
However, the influx of cash did not seem to affect the cash barons.
In fact social media was awash with pictures of some alleged barons walking out with loads of newly minted green Z$2 notes.
Two banks have since been put under investigation for releasing huge tranches to some customers – who apparently used the money to source hard currency on the black market.
And President Emmerson Mnangagwa has issued a warning to the cash barons that they will soon face justice.
Zimbabweans have little faith in how the government has managed the economy over the last decade”
But any penalties may not be enough to deter the appetite for US dollars on the black market as businesses need them to purchase desperately needed products.
People also need hard currency to buy medicines or to go abroad for treatment, given the failing health service, where doctors have been on strike for months.
And Zimbabweans have little faith in how the government has managed the economy over the last decade.
The Zimbabwe dollar was abandoned because of hyperinflation in 2009, when the country mainly adopted the US dollar and the South African rand.
Annual inflation reached 231 million per cent in July 2008. Officials gave up reporting monthly statistics when it peaked at just under 80 billion per cent in mid-November 2008.
In June the Zimbabwe dollar was reintroduced and foreign currencies were banned because the country had effectively run out of forex – as it was importing more than it was exporting.
Prices are now increasing on average about twice a month while salaries have remained stagnant.
The central bank says over the next five months there will be a gradual injection of Z$1bn in cash.
And while Zimbabweans may be wary of high dollar bills – with memories of trillion dollar notes – there are now ironically calls for higher denominations such as a Z$50 bill.
For many it feels very much like it’s back to the future.
At the moment the highest denomination of Z$5 – which is worth about 30 US cents – cannot buy a soft drink or ice cream.
Flying Between Bulawayo And Johannesburg Getting Popular, Fastjet Introduces New Flight On The Route

LOW-COST airline Fastjet Zimbabwe says it will early next month introduce the Bulawayo-Johannesburg route and has lined up 22 scheduled flights per week.
The scheduled flights, which will begin on December 5, include two daily flights from Monday to Friday and a single flight on Sunday.
In a statement, Fastjet chief executive officer Mr Joao Sousa said their flight times would be convenient for leisure and business passengers travelling between Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport in Bulawayo and OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa.
“It’s great that we can make a seamless journey a reality for our loyal customers supporting new business, trade and leisure opportunities between the two countries.
“We are excited to announce the first of a number of new routes approved by the regulators for the Zimbabwe network and we are committed to working with our team to ensure the success of this new route,” he said.
Mr Sousa said Fastjet will fly from JM Nkomo International Airport to OR Tambo International Airport where travellers may connect to multiple global destinations on the services of the company’s ticketing airline partners, Qatar Airways and Emirates Airline or any airline of the travellers’ choice.
The new route schedule will increase Fastjet daily flights across the network to 114 flights per week.
Meanwhile, South African Express Airways on Monday landed at JM Nkomo International Airport in an introductory flight ahead of the airline’s Johannesburg-Bulawayo route launch soon.
SA Express Airways’ Bombardier CRJ 200 aircraft touched down at JM Nkomo International Airport with 50 passengers including the company’s officials on board.
The Bulawayo Publicity Association has welcomed the launch of flights into the city saying this will positively impact on tourist arrivals into the city.
The commencement of regional and international flights into Bulawayo is a step in the right direction as it also adds impetus to the utilisation of the JM Nkomo International Airport which has received a major facelift in recent years.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe has also indicated its intent to upgrade the airport soon under the second phase which among others will involve construction of a new air traffic control tower and a fire station.
Where Is China’s $130 Million?
Paul Nyathi|Zimbabwe’s 2020 National Budget Statement does not reflect what China has actually done on the ground, the Chinese embassy says.
The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Zimbabwe has asked the Zimbabwean government to accurately reflect funds given to it by China.
In its 2020 National Budget Statement, the Zimbabwean government said it had received only $3,631,500 from China, which was “very different” from the actual situation on the ground, said the Chinese embassy in the country.
“According to our records, from January to September 2019, the actual bilateral support provided to Zimbabwe by China is 136.8 million USD. Such a figure does not include the other bilateral supports such as the expense of expert assistance, Embassy’s donations to local vulnerable groups and so on.
“The Embassy wishes that the relevant departments of the Zimbabwean government will make comprehensive assessments on the statistics of bilateral supports and accurately reflect its actual situation when formulating budget statement,” it said.
It further said it believed the Zimbabwean government and its people, along with international support, would be successful in achieving prosperity and development. The country would also realise its vision for 2030.
“Ecocash Needed To Go Through White Box, Black Box And Grey Box Testing Before Going Public,”

Technomag|Just as was predicted, Ecocash main system is facing a torid time come, the dinosaur system they have migrated will not be comfortably landing on the new platform.
Setting the 24 hr time frame was probably the biggest mistake as they under estimated the wholesome process, and a swift come back, it has now become a mirage.
The upgrade needed time to go through white box, black box and grey box testing before going public, and now they need lots of time.
While the main menu accessible via *151# is down, here is how you can still access the back end with little traffic and open terminals to some essential service.
Dial *152# and you can still call the Ecocash server and various services, we have tried this before and it was working at the time of publishing .
It looks like this is the open gateway to the old server and backup, as they try to have some continity inside the turmoil.
Some peole have suggested buying airtime via *90%#,, an embedded system undder Oena but we have not registered any success through this method
Billiat Does The Damage As Chipezeze Shines In Zambia
Paul Nyathi| Khama Billiat grabbed two goals as Zimbabwe defeated Zambia 2-1 during an AFCON Qualifier in Lusaka on Tuesday evening.
Zambia’s loss follows after taking a 5-0 loss from Algeria in the first match of the campaign – while Zimbabwe played to a goalless draw with Botswana.
Justin Shonga created the first dangerous action of the first stanza but his cross did not meet any Chipolopolo shirt. Zimbabwe soon got into the game to win two set-piece corners inside 10 minutes.
Billiat broke the deadline with a clinical header, thanks to a Knowledge Musona corner kick on 11 minutes. Zambia nearly struck an immediate equalizer but Augustine Mulenga’s flew inches wide. Zambia’s Patson Daka almost scored too but goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze was having a superb evening.
It was 1-1 on 20 minutes. Zambia’s Daka, from an acute angle, stuck one into the top left corner past Chipezeze.
Chipolopolo’s tails were up and forced to consecutive clearances from Warriors two central defenders Alec Mudimu and Teenage Hadebe. The half-time break came to the relief of Zimbabwe’s defence.
Zambia came from the interval playing truly like the home side and the team who had lost on matchday one. Warriors were pinned back into the own half with counter attacks hard to come by yet Zambia failed to fully penetrate Zimbabwe’s guard.
It was the 79th minute and Billiat was on hand to score his brace. Combining with Musona again, Billiat tapped in a perfect Musona square ball. The Warriors held on tightly until they heard the final whistle and sank to their knees to point to the heavens for the win.
The win meant Zimbabwe take second place behind Algeria in Group H while Botswana and Zambia sit on third & fourth respectively.
How the teams line-up:
Zambia: M. Chibwe, D. Malama, L. Chungu, K. Chongo, T. Mwape, N. Sinkala, E. Mwepu, E. Kangwa, A. Mulenga, P. Daka, J. Shonga.
Zimbabwe: E. Chipezeze, R. Pfumbidzai, T. Hadebe, I. Nekati, A. Mudimu, M. Nakamba, M. Munetsi, K. Billiat, O. Karuru, K. Mahachi, K. Musona.
Ziyambi Ziyambi To MDC Legislators: “We Have 2/3 Wajority We Can Continue Without You.”
The govt led by the ruling party Zanu PF has dared the MDC legislators and told them they have the two-thirds majority they can continue without them if they continue to boycott parly business Daily News reports.
Speaking to the Daily News Ziyambi Ziyambi said they could run the country without them: We have a two-thirds majority, we can run the country without them. We do not need them, they are the minority. We have the majority. If they do not want to recognise the president who is our principal, we ignore them.
There comes a time when we have to say let’s be forward-looking. We can’t continue to be dragged back by the minority group. They have told us they are for constitutionalism and the rule of law. They went to court and lost so whatever they are doing now is unconstitutional.
They are not observing the rule of law. We will ignore them going forward and we do whatever we do. Parliament can continue without them. Ziyambi Ziyambi was addressing the issue of MDC MPs boycotting the budget presentation last Thursday.

They Have Seen That The MDC Project Won’t Work,” Matemadanda Says On G40 Kasukuwere Support.

State Media|ZANU-PF national political commissar, Victor Matemadanda, has sensationally claimed that there is US$5 million set aside to campaign against ZANU PF online by so called detractors working with the ZANU PF G40 splinter faction.
Matemadanda says there is a plot by the notorious G40 cabal to create a false impression that there is instability in Zimbabwe to scare away investors as part of their broader scheme to over throw the Government.
In an interview in Bulawayo yesterday, Matemadanda who is also the Defence and War Veterans’ Affairs Deputy Minister said key members of the G40 cabal met in South Africa a week ago to discuss strategies to overthrow the Government in a project funded by Zimbabwe’s detractors who have discovered that their MDC project has failed to effect their regime change agenda.
“They have seen that the MDC project won’t work. Now they have gone at another level, it is common cause and common knowledge that they have put $5 million for social media abuse propaganda against the Zanu-PF government and they are giving money to anyone that will oppose any Zanu-PF activity,” said Matemadanda.
He said part of the social media project was the “Tyson Wabantu” campaign running on Twitter by some elements claiming that one of the G40 kingpins Saviour Kasukuwere was coming back from self-imposed exile to lead Zimbabwe.
“And as we speak, we have on social media stories like Tyson is coming to take over, the military wants to overthrow the Government, this minister or this vice president have gone into an agreement to overthrow the President, this and that. They are creating this confusion so that they cause disharmony and create an opportunity for the re-introduction of the erstwhile colonial power.
“The Tysons, the Jonathan Moyos are being used. (Economic Freedom Fighters leader Mr Julius) Malema (from South Africa) has also been put in the same line. He becomes a big brand that boy, that stupid young boy thinks he can negotiate, he goes at the centre of va Mnangagwa and Chamisa and says you guy come I want you to make a settlement, what stupid thinking is that. Where does Malema come from in the revolution of Zimbabwe?” said Matemadanda.
“He is being persuaded by the likes of Kasukuwere and then that shows the level or capacity that Kasukuwere has to think that a Zimbabwean deal can be brokered by a person of the level of Malema, this is desperation.”
Matemadanda said the Government will not lose sleep over the G40 project as just like the MDC one, it will fail.
“Here you have some lady who has been keeping the corpse in her bedroom, when her mother died, the President had to charter a plane to get her so that she buries her mother and she sings praises ‘ah vaMnangagwa vakanaka ah I didn’t know, he is like an angel’ but only six days ago she was in a meeting with these fools planning on how they think they can overthrow this government.
“Why are they doing that? It is not for them; it is for the people that we defeated in the battle field. ..my word to them is that we know all these machinations, we know why there are so many issues on the social media giving an impression that there is insecurity in Zimbabwe and they are trying also to scare away investors, whenever the President is out trying to lure investors hee Tyson Wabantu is coming, what is Tyson in the security set-up of this region and this country? Can we lose sleep because there is a person called Saviour Kasukuwere coming, was he not here? Why didn’t he act? Why did he run out nxa eyindoda sibili?” said Matemadanda.
“O Jonathan, yimpabanga kuphela, he is a confusionist, he doesn’t even know where his face is, whether it is at the back or at the front, he doesn’t know and how do you expect such a person to lead you, he has been everywhere causing confusion, he caused confusion in South Africa, in Botswana they don’t want him, in Kenya to his own in-laws, he has caused problems, he is a trouble maker and how do you ever entertain such a person to even think of leading this country? You can’t.
“They are not going anywhere, we are not going to lose sleep ngenxa yokuthi kuthwa o Tyson labo Jonathan lempabanga zabo bazabuya, besiya ngaphi? Besenzani? Labobani? Who will accompany them? They are just making a lot of noise but of course they want to cause a lot of disinvestment in this country, they want to create an impression that there is insecurity in Zimbabwe and therefore investors should not come.”
Matemadanda assured Zimbabwe that their security is guaranteed and investors should know that Zimbabwe is safe investment destination.
Why Mthuli Ncube Will Fail.

By Ken Mufuka (Standard)|While I wish Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube to succeed, the path he has followed is doomed to fail. I will detail the reasons why below. The situation in which he has placed Zimbabwe’s finances is not new. Many Third World countries have gone through that process until they realised that they had been played for fools.
Ncube places too much trust in imperialists.
Briefly, between 1971 and 1976 Jamaica was experiencing severe unemployment and budget deficits at the same time. A brilliant economist from the London School of Economics, Michael Manley, assumed the office of prime minister.
The solution, from his point of view, was to soak the four giant American bauxite companies, Alcoa, Alcan, Monsanto and Kaiser, with new taxes. At the same time, he asked for World Bank and the International Monetary Fund for support.
Those two bodies advised him to depreciate the Jamaican dollar. At that time, J$1 was equivalent to US$2.
The depreciation, by 50%, made Jamaican goods cheaper. US goods, automobiles, electrical gadgets and food retained their previous prices.
These surrogate imperialists also insisted that Jamaica pay its debt to their clients, even while Jamaican schools and institutions were deprived of funding.
So the windfall J$4 250 million Manley had extracted in taxes from international companies was halved in one swoop.
Having started this perilous journey of floating the Jamaican currency, there was no end in sight. Today the US$ is valued at J$153. A professor’s salary of J$450 000 is worth US$2991,17.
Thus started the Jamaican exodus to the US and Canada, estimated at five million over the last 30 years.
Meanwhile, through thick and thin the World Bank insisted that their friends be paid. Tanzania’s Julius Nyerere addressed the students at the University of the West Indies. .
“We found ourselves running in order to stand still.” Nyerere said. “But the international debtors were collecting their money as usual. We asked. Do you want us to starve our children so that we pay you? The answer [was], yes.”
Zimbabwe’s Indian dance
Once Ncube depreciated the Zimbabwe dollar by a factor of 10, there will be no end to the Indian dance we must go through. An Indian dance, like Nyerere’s dance, starts and ends at the same place. No progress is achieved.
I am writing on the 12th of November. I have before me a press statement by the Zimbabwe Grain Millers Association. Previously, the millers had bought wheat from the Grain Marketing Board for $3 548 per tonne. Today the price is $55 900 per tonne.
Let that sentence sink for a while.
The Indian dance has begun and there is no end in sight. The new price is based on the inter-market exchange value of $15,75 per U$1.
The doctors’ strike has entered its 70th day with no end in sight. It is very simple, my dear Dr Watson.
Brother Ncube is worried too much about paying back international debtors. Those blood suckers will not rest until our children starve. That should not be a priority.
As long as the Zimbabwe dollar is on a yo-yo versus the US dollar, doctors cannot be satisfied. A 100% salary increment merely doubles salaries. The inter-market exchange rate has gone beyond that. At the time of writing, it has moved to Z$20 per U$1.
Ncube is worried about paying off the international financiers.
Doctors and hospitals in Zimbabwe are not a priority. It is a shame.
World is a cruel place
Of the 1 600 doctors in Zimbabwe, I wonder if there is going to be a single doctor under the age of 30 who will refuse such a passage to Eldorado by going overseas.
My information is that Canada may soon extend its greetings to Zimbabwean doctors and nurses.
What then is to be done?
Forget about the international banks. Our emphasis should be on internal self-sufficiency. To begin with, with good leadership, our minds we can be reoriented.
Think of the Japanese or Chinese. If we are building a road, why in God’s earth do we need Chinese and Japanese when we have so many engineers? What does it matter if the road takes 10 years to build? Great Zimbabwe was built by trial and error builders.
Rwanda’s Paul Kagame said that what Africa needs is a mind reorientation. Sometimes we ask for things, which we already have. I had difficulties holding my tears at Tokwe Mukosi village. The villagers are suffering from a drought. The Tokwe Mukosi weir is 500 yards from their village on its way 160km away to Chiredzi cane fields.
They are waiting for somebody from Europe to build a small diversion of the weir to irrigate their crops.
Cry Africa, Cry.
Surplus
Ncube talks about a surplus. Contrary to his claims, he has not yet achieved fiscal discipline if a minister has seven cars at his disposal. In any case, if the surplus money is in Zimbabwe dollars, it is losing value even as we go to press.
But I am surprised to hear that Ncube can boast of monetary surplus when doctors have not been paid and hospitals are in shambles. Is it possible for a father to boast that his granary is full when his children spindly legs reveal the presence of kwashiorkor?
I rest my case.

Oppah Muchinguri Led SADC Observer Team Starts Work On Namibian Elections

Namibia Economist|The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has started assessing Namibia’s preparedness to host elections on November 27.
The Southern African Election Observer Mission (SEOM), headed by Zimbabwean Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, launched the mission at the invitation of the Electoral Commission of Namibia, days before the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The delegation which will observe the elections consists of a total of 53 personnel from eight SADC member states, namely; Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
They will be deployed to all 14 regions of the country to focus on the pre- and post-election periods which includes the campaigns, the voting day activities and the process of the counting of the ballot papers.
The observers will assess the conduct of the November 27 elections in line with the Namibian laws and provisions of the revised SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections (2015).
The mission will further render a more considered assessment of these preparations and preliminary voting processes in its preliminary and final statements and issue the preliminary statement on November 29 at the Windhoek Country Club, followed by a final statement 30 days after the end of the electoral cycle.
Speaking at the official launch of the its mission in Windhoek this week, Cde Muchinguri-Kashiri encouraged all stakeholders to ensure that these elections are conducted in a peaceful, free, fair, transparent and credible manner.
“As SADC, we look forward to an electoral process that adheres to democratic values and principles envisioned in our SADC Treaty, the Protocol of Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation; and the revised SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections (2015),” Muchinguri-Kashiri said.
Apostle Chiwenga Deaths: Another 2 Women Killed On The Spot In Another 7am Accident

By A Correspondent| Another accident in the Harare preacher, Talent Chiwenga’s church happened on Monday morning (the same time as the previous one) resulting in the death of two more female church members.
The development has led to Zimbabweans mourning on the loss with some asking, “why two women again?”
Both accidents were in the early hours of the morning, 7am.
At Chatsworth – 2 women were killed: 12th June, 7am. A male, Eugene Kanyuchi survived, and died some hours later.
At Rundu – 2 women were killed: 18th Nov, 7am.
The accident happened on the Trans-Zambezi Highway in the Bwabwata National Park in the Kavango-East Region and claimed the lives of two people on Monday morning.
Below are some latest pictures of some of the injured at Divundu Hospital in Namibia, being consoled by MDC members. When the MDC members arrived to comfort the victims, they were ordered not to make prayers as this would violate Chiwenga’s church doctrine.
VIDEO LOADING BELOW….

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation reports saying: The accident occurred about 40 kilometres north of Divindu via Kongola, where the driver of a foreign registered seven-seater minibus lost control and overturned around 07h00.
Two female passengers died on the spot and had to be pulled out of the wreckage.
Eyewitnesses assisted in removing five passengers, including the driver, from the wreck.
They suffered slight to serious injuries and are being treated at the Divundu Hospital.
Although the Namibian Police could not confirm, those at the scene say the vehicle’s occupants are all Zimbabwean nationals.
Several sources told the ZimEye.com the members are those from the spiritist preacher Talent Chiwenga’s church.
“They had finished church and were now heading back-to Zimbabwe,” a source told ZimEye.
Another source told ZimEye she lost her aunt in the accident.
“My aunt died in the accident.”
In a twist of emotions, she also appeared to be complaining about the church’ conduct saying they were irresponsible since they took time informing the families. She made other allegations in her complaint that cannot be published at this present time of grieving.
The two deceased are women and their identities will be published once all their next of kin have been notified. -NBC/ZimEye

Mnangagwa Says Sanctions On Zimbabwe Were Because Of Land Grab And Never About Human Rights Issues

Paul Nyathi|President Emmerson Mnangagwa has opposed the United States and European Union on the reasons why Zimbabwe was put on the targeted sanctions lists.
Mnangagwa said the sanctions imposed on some ZANU PF leaders and companies linked to human rights violations in the country were because of the land redistribution exercise carried out by his predecessor Robert Mugabe and never about the human rights issues.
He made the remarks during a panel discussion on the revitalisation of Zimbabwe’s economy during the 5th Global Business Forum on Africa that opened here yesterday.
The discussion was moderated by Mr Sangu Delle, chairman of Golden Palm Investments in Ghana.
Said Mnangagwa: “Now we are saying yes, we can continue speaking against sanctions but we want to say to the international community, we have not offended you, embrace us back, we embrace you also.
“That way we have opened up. We are saying now under the new dispensation, we want to engage and re-engage. Engage with those countries and nations and international organisations who have not engaged us before, re-engage with those countries and nations who would have disengaged with us.
“We have no plans of interfering in any other country’s affairs. We want to remain Zimbabweans working for our own destiny as Zimbabweans. That is what we as Zimbabweans desire and we expect that the rest of the international community should respect us as we respect them.”
Mnangagwa called for mutual respect between countries.
Zimbabwe, he said, took up arms against white rule because of unfair land distribution and it was inevitable that citizens would reclaim their land after the liberation war.
The President said the land reform was now a closed chapter and the world should now chart a new path with Harare.
“The major grievance for that armed struggle was land and it was necessary to get our land back. When we introduced our land reform programme in the year 2000, we offended those who had taken land from us and they control all the global media and as a result, sanctions were imposed on us and the global media supported them.
“When sanctions were imposed on us, our economy collapsed. Our currency collapsed totally. Up to now we do not have any support from financial international institutions like the World Bank (WB) or the International Monetary Fund, (IMF)” said President Mnangagwa.
Major international financial institutions have not extended lines of credit to Harare for the past 20 years, leaving the country to largely survive on its own resources.
“We are saying the land reform is behind us and is irreversible so we now want to engage with the rest of the international community. We want to be embraced.”

“Tell Us Where We Went Wrong,” ZEC Calls For Feedback On How They Ran 2018 Elections

State Media|THE Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) wants objective reviews from seconded staff, political players, civic society organisations and election observers who participated in last year’s harmonised elections on how the election was managed and to capture the aspirations of all Zimbabweans on how they would like to see election management in the future, ZEC chairperson Justice Priscilla Chigumba has said.
In a report titled “ZEC Strategic Plan 2020-2024” released a fortnight ago, Justice Chigumba said the views formed the basis of ZECs’ new strategic plan ahead of future elections.
“The new strategic plan intends to realign the operations of ZEC to be electoral cycle compliant with emphasis on rebranding, alignment of electoral laws and regulations to the Constitution, institutional capacity development, delimitation of electoral boundaries, and enhancement of electoral processes and procedures,” she said.
Justice Chigumba said ZEC had also made inclusivity as its core value.
”A major development in the new strategic plan is the addition of inclusivity as one of our values. This was done in order to recognise recent trends to make election processes participatory for men, women, youths, the elderly and people with disabilities,” she said.
She said ZEC also conducted a post 2018 election gender survey which examined factors that affected women’s participation in the election.
In the same report, ZEC Chief Electoral Officer Mr Utloile Silaigwana concurred saying the strategic plan was a thrust towards improving the management of elections through the electoral cycle programming.
“As the electoral management body in the country, we want to make electoral processes transparent, inclusive and interactive. We need to put a straight record of what ZEC stands for, what it does and why, and what it intends to achieve,” he said.
Mr Silaigwana said ZEC was now focusing on stakeholder engagement, improvement of procurement processes through the establishment of an independent procurement management unit and moving towards programme-based budgeting.
“The Commission will continue exploring ways of expediting our electoral processes through strengthening strategic synergies and the adoption and deployment of relevant ICTs,” he said.
Former Minister David Parirenyatwa Corruption Trial Begins

State Media|The trial of former Health and Child Care Minister David Parirenyatwa on charges of criminal abuse of office will resume on December 2 after the State yesterday indicated that it was now ready to proceed with the trial.
This follows an instruction from the Prosecutor-General Mr Kumbirai Hodzi who gave the State the green light to proceed.
The prosecurtion was halted four months ago by the Prosecutor-General who wanted to to consider the matter further.
Prosecutor Mr Brian Vito told the court yesterdy that he had received instructions from the Prosecutor- General to resume the trial and that he was ready to do so at that hearing.
Dr Parirenyatwa’s lawyer, Advocate Depak Mehta, responded saying his team came to court yesterday to make an application for refusal of further remand, not to proceed with trial, and so the defence was not prepared for continuation.
Advocate Mehta tendered a letter to Harare regional magistrate Mr Elijah Makomo which he wrote to Mr Vito on October 14 indicating that he was going to make an application for refusal of further remand yesterday.
In the letter Advocate Mehta said the matter was halted in the middle of the State case without appropriate reason or explanation for continued prosecution.
“The defence wishes to place on record that the law does not permit the State to arrest people, put them on trial and then halt proceedings in the middle of the State case, for an indefinite period, without just cause or reasonable explanation. Justice delayed is justice denied,” reads the letter.
Advocate Mehta said Dr Parirenyatwa is a medical doctor and consultant, and the current delay in proceedings and completion of the current prosecution to its final result was interfering with his livelihood and duties as a medical practitioner.
“The State had indicated, at the sudden halt of proceedings some four months ago, that it is awaiting consultations and confirmation from the prosecuting authorities regarding further progress of trial in this matter.
“It is the defence’s view, that the period of four months to obtain a decision from the prosecuting authorities, either for withdrawal of the matter after plea or continuation of hearing, is sufficient time for that decision to be formulated and conferred to the court,” reads the letter.
“In the circumstances, there is with respect, no basis for further remand of the accused Dr Parirenyatwa, at the next remand date and it will be moved by the defence, that the court is implored at that further remand date, to refuse a further remand,“ reads the letter.
Prosecutor Mr Brian Vito responded to Advocate Mehta’s application for postponement saying he understood his position since he received instructions from the PG’s Office to continue with trial yesterday.
“I will leave the matter in the hands of the court to decide whether we should proceed or postpone it, but I am not opposed to the defence’s application, “he said.
The State alleges that on June 4, 2018, the former minister ordered NatPharm board chairman Mr George Washaya to terminate Ms Flora Nancy Sifeku’s contract as managing director, saying that he required her services at the ministry’s headquarters in Harare.
He also allegedly directed Mr Washaya to appoint Mr Newman Madzikwa as acting managing director of NatPharm with effect from June 1, 2018.The board complied and the two were given six-month contracts with effect from June to November 30, 2018.
The prosecution said the two ended up receiving salaries for the same job thereby prejudicing NatPharm of $30 000.
Musona Silences Critics
KNOWLEDGE Musona answered his critics in the best manner possible last night with an influential role as he guided his Warriors to an historic AFCON qualifying victory over Zambia at the Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
The 29-year-old forward has been the subject of some vicious attacks by those who have been suggesting he is now past his prime and should be pushed into an early retirement from international football by being dropped from the Warriors.
That army of critics argue Musona doesn’t deserve his place in the team because, by not playing for his Belgian club Anderlecht, the coaches can’t justify why they are calling him for national duty without any statistics or form to back their decision.
The Smiling Assassin’s case was not helped by an indifferent show at the 2019 Nations Cup finals, where — playing without the benefit of being fully fit — he didn’t produce the high standards which the fans have come to expect of him whenever he plays for his country.
A glaring miss in the group match against Uganda when he somehow sent his effort to kiss the crossbar with a yawing net in front of him didn’t help matters either, with some suggesting he was now past his prime.
That he had scored five goals, only the third player on the continent to score more than four goals during the qualifiers for a place in Egypt, didn’t appear to matter to his critics.
And, when he again failed to produce the fireworks which have come to be associated with him whenever he led his Warriors during the lifeless goalless draw against Botswana in the opening 2019 AFCON qualifier last Friday, they were starting to write the epitaph on his tombstone.
On the eve of last night’s match, caretaker coach Joey Antipas had to field questions again, from the Zambian media, why he was investing his trust in Musona when the player wasn’t playing regular top-flight football in Belgium.
“He could not be playing regularly for the first team at RSC Anderlecht, but he is training regularly and is playing games regularly for the reserve side,’’ said Antipas.State media

AU Accuses Chihombori Of Misappropriating Money, Says Her Firing Has Nothing To Do With Opinions ‘On France’ | FULL TEXT
The African Union commission has announced that its former ambassador to the United States Dr Arikana Chihombori was relieved of her duties after among other allegations, misappropriating money. It has been her comment that she was fired for airing opinions that criticise the foreign policy of France.
Below is the announcement-
COMMUNIQUÉ OF THE AFRICAN UNION COMMISSION REGARDING THE
CONTINUED MISLEADING CAMPAIGN OF THE AU FORMER PERMANENT
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
15 November 2019, Addis Abeba: The African Union Commission regrets the continuation of a misleading campaign on different media outlets regarding the circumstances of the end of tenure of Dr Arikana Chihombori-Quao as the African Union Permanent Representative to the United States of America.
Dr Chihombori Quao received a letter on 7 October 2019 bringing her tour of duty to an
end, in line with the terms and conditions governing her contract of appointment, after
serving three years as Permanent Representative of the African Union Mission to the
United States of America.
Per the African Union internal rules, a high-level team was deployed to the AU Representational Mission to the USA in Washington DC from 16 to 26 October 2019 to carry out a supervisory audit of the Office activities, facilitate the separation and the handover processes against the mandate of the Office and the approved Programme
Activities.
During this mission, the team found evidence, corroborated by Dr Quao that she initiated
and implemented with AU funds, activities of the following entities that have no AUC formal approval or legal link to the African Union, nor any of its organs:
•AU-ADHI (Africa Union-Africa Diaspora Health Initiative) ;
•African Electoral Integrity Initiative Inc.;
•Miss African Union Pageant;
•African Union Trading Company LLC;
•Wakanda One Village Project Initiative;
•African Diaspora Global Fund;
•African Diaspora Federal Credit Union (PADFCU) in the New England;
•African Diaspora Youth Leaders’ Summit;
•Pan African Diaspora Women’s Association (PADWA);
•Pan African Diaspora Men’s Association (PADMA);
•Pan African Diaspora Youth Association (PADYA); and
•African Diaspora Retreat.
The team found that the above entities, initiatives, associations and/or corporates have
conducted the following without prior knowledge or consent and against the rules of the
African Union:
1. Utilised the African Union Logo;
2. Presented themselves as official AU programmes and/or AU organs;
3. Used the name of the AU;
4. Registered the official physical address of the AU Mission in Washington DC as
their legal and financial domicilium;
5. Some of these entities are illegally registered to the USA Internal Revenue
Services with diplomatic tax certificates applied for by Dr Quao;
6. Raised or received funds in the name of the AU;
7. Collected donations from private sector entities and companies like Chevron Oil
Company;
8. Donations and funds were collected in the name of the African Union Mission
with no evidence that any amount collected were deposited in AU accounts, including but not limited to, the amount of ten thousand dollars donated by Chevron Oil Company. A private entity headed by a certain Melvin Foote, confirmed that they utilized the funds for unknown activities unrelated to the African Union or its Mission in Washington, DC.
In this regard, the African Union Commission has written confirmation from Dr Quao that
the aforementioned initiatives/activities were her private engagements, initiated by
herself, with no relationship to the African Union nor any of its organs.
It was also found that Dr Quao, in violation of the African Union Rules and Regulations,
unilaterally made diplomatic appointments to several personalities unknown to the African
Union and for whom she sought the US Department of State’s recognition of these
individuals, unknown to the African Union, as bone fide envoys of the African Union.
Before her separation, Amb. Quao has signed official letters revoking these appointments. These letters were forwarded to the said individuals and, accordingly the US State Department was informed of this revocation.
Since the separation of Dr Quao on 31 October 2019, she has no further formal dealings
with the AU, and the AU has implemented several remedial and preventive actions regarding the above mentioned issues. In this regard, the African Union Commission reserves the right to take any legal action, if necessary, against any use and/or misuse of its name, logo and resources by any unauthorized individuals or entities.
Finally, the African Union Commission reiterates that the claims made in social media
suggesting that Dr Quao end of tenure is due to any pronouncements or opinions she may have held during her three and a half year tenure, are blatantly untrue and unsubstantiated. Dr Chihombori herself confirmed that she has never been sanctioned by the Commission on any public pronouncements she has made during her three-year tenure and nor has the Commission ever thought the need to do so. On the contrary, Dr Chihombori maintained a public presence freely without fear or prejudice to voice her
opinions, and did so via AU channels.
Woman Fined For Tormenting Ex-husband’s Wife
A Harare woman was yesterday ordered to pay a fine of $250 after she was found guilty of sending abusive messages to her ex-husband’s wife.
Laiza Musakara (43) appeared before Mbare magistrate Ms Elizabeth Magomore facing charges of sending offensive messages via mobile phone to Sibusisiwe Dube (48)
In her ruling, Ms Magomore said the court took into consideration that Musakara was a first offender who pleaded guilty to the offence of sending offensive or false telephone messages.
“The court does not support Musakara’s behaviour of using abusive messages via the cellphone, which the national law of sending and receiving messages does not support at all,” she said.
“However, the court takes into consideration that the matter is not criminal in nature, hence suitable to be given a light sentence.”
Prosecutor Mr Allan Mandishona alleged that on August 14 2019, Dube was in Mberengwa when Musakara send text messages insulting her, saying she was a witch doctor, as well as a prostitute.
Musakara went on to threaten Dube that she would come to her residence and work place to embarass.State media

Birth Certificate Chaos In Zimbabwe
Ms Esther Zinyoro of Mbare, Harare, also known as Mbuya Gwena, has become an overnight sensation due to the assistance she has been rendering to expecting mothers, most of whom were stranded after council nurses went on strike citing incapacitation.
Most people have spoken glowingly about the work she has been doing under challenging circumstances.
Between Sunday night and mid-morning on Monday, Mbuya Gwena, who stays a stone’s throw from Edith Opperman maternity clinic, has assisted 17 women. On average, Mbuya Gwena is assisting 13 women to deliver on a daily basis.
Her case highlights what has been happening in different parts of the city, where expecting mothers are now resorting to home deliveries in the wake of the strike by council nurses.
While Mbuya Gwena is doing a great job, the challenge that her “clients” face is that of obtaining documentation for the newborn babies.
A lot of babies that were delivered at home have not yet been issued with birth certificates largely due to differences in processes followed regarding births at hospitals and at home. When birth has been given at a hospital or clinic, getting documentation is relatively easy as the health institution issues a birth record.
The birth record is immediately taken to the Registrar-General’s Office for the issuance of a birth certificate. Larger hospitals like Parirenyatwa have an even simpler way as the office is within the hospital.
If the parents are legally married, the father or mother’s national identity document is required, together with the couple’s marriage certificate.
For home births, the parents of the baby have to be accompanied by the person who would have assisted them to deliver.
Just as in the case with hospital births, the parent’s national identification documents, marriage certificate (if available) and the birth attendant’s ID is required.
Although some parents take long before starting the process of securing birth certificates for their children, the process is usually done within the first weeks of delivery.
However, under the present scenario, indications are that it might take even more days for those who delivered at home to obtain the documents.
In the case of Mbuya Gwena, there are fears that she might fail to accompany the mothers she helped to deliver because of their huge number and her busy schedule.
“Imagine if we had given birth in a health facility, we could have just gotten the birth records before we are even discharged. Now this situation will force us to come back again requesting Mbuya Gwena to accompany us to the RG’s office, which is cumbersome,” said Mrs Appronia Jela of Hatfield.
Mrs Maud Siyakurima of Epworth said there was no hope of them getting birth certificates until normal services resume in council clinics, arguing that the same person who is supposed to accompany them to the RG’s office will be busy assisting other women.
“This place is always busy. I doubt it very much that ambuya will find time to accompany someone to the RG’s office. Who would she leave the other expecting women with? So until services normalise in clinics, that’s when we can ask her to assist us to get birth certificates,” said Mrs Siyakurima.
Other women were concerned on what would happen if they lose the children before getting birth certificates.
“The situation is really tricky. What if one loses their child before getting a birth certificate, what happens then? Does one then apply for a birth certificate or a death certificate? responsible authorities should solve this issue as a matter of urgency”
Mbuya Gwena was however, forthcoming on the issue.
“They will have to come back so that I accompany them to the Registrar-General’s department for issuance of a birth certificate. That is how I have dealt with other women from my church whom I assisted to deliver before,” she said.
Women interviewed urged responsible authorities to “find each other” with striking health workers including those at Government institutions saying ordinary people were now bearing the brunt of the strike.
According to the RG’s Office, if a child is born out of a health facility, a witness, preferably a midwife is required to be present on birth registration.
Although The Herald could not establish the magnitude of women who could be in this scenario owing to lack of accurate information on who is giving birth at home and who is not, a number of women could be in similar circumstances as most are not giving birth in health facilities.
Gukurahundi and Cyclone Idai victims are also set to be assisted with registration of identity particulars, including birth certificates and national identity cards, following recommendations by the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC).
Some victims of Gukurahundi lost their parents, relatives and in some instances traditional leaders, making it difficult for them to access identity particulars due to lack of immediate witnesses, since the era of civil disturbances that affected Midlands and south-western provinces in the early years of independence.
Fielding questions from journalists on Monday, ZHRC chairperson Dr Elasto Mugwadi: “For Gukurahundi victims, the issue of witnesses or parents is no longer applicable. We are making certain recommendations to have the issuance facilitated.
“The same goes to those who lost their documentation in Manicaland, particularly in Chimanimani and Chipinge; we recommended the waiving of the conventional requirements.” Dr Mugwadi said on challenges related to Harare Metropolitan Province, preliminary findings indicate that the main documents which people were failing to access are birth certificates, identity cards, passports and citizenship.
“Birth certificates challenges were experienced across the age ranges from children to the elderly. Challenges included difficulties in registering children delivered at home due to unavailability of birth records. This was a main challenge cited across all the districts.
“Long distances and costs of accessing the Registrar’s Offices were also cited as hindering ease access of documents by citizens, as was highlighted by residents of Crest Breeders in Harare South, who are advocating for a sub-office instead of them travelling to Highfield suburb for services,” he said.
Dr Mugwadi said in Harare, the lack of documentation has also been attributed to the withholding of birth records by health institutions due to failure by parents to settle hospital bills.
Failure to appreciate the importance of birth registration by communities, coupled with some religious beliefs that do not allow mothers to deliver at health institutions, also complicated access to identity particulars.
Further, the departure by parents to seek employment in other countries has also been cited as a hindrance to access to identity documents. Dr Mugwadi said other challenges included alleged corruption by staff in the RG’s office, lack of documentation caused by parents of foreign origin especially those from Malawi and Mozambique in areas such as Mufakose, Highfield and Harare South, and the prohibitive cost of citizenship certificates.
According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), a birth registration provides permanent, official and visible evidence of a state’s legal recognition of any person’s existence as a member of society.
Undocumented people find it difficult to access basic human rights such as health, education, social protection, housing, travel documents and political rights. – state media
Boy (16) Stabbed Over “Protection Fee”
A 16-year-old bully from Bulawayo has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another boy thrice with an Okapi knife demanding money that he said was a protection fee in the neighbourhood.
The assailant from Mpopoma suburb allegedly ambushed and stabbed his victim who is also aged 16 on his back while he was on his way to a barbershop.
The court heard that the accused had previously demanded money from the complainant who lives at a neighbouring house but he refused to give him.
The juvenile pleaded guilty to an assault charge before Western Commonage magistrate, Mr Stephen Ndlovu.
He was remanded out of custody on free bail to December 2 for continuation of trial.
The boy said he stabbed his neighbour with a screwdriver.
“I do admit to the charges levelled against me, but I didn’t use an Okapi knife your worship, I used a screwdriver,” he said.State media

Chamisa Bemoans “Man -Made” Governance Crisis
Farai Dziva| MDC leader Nelson Chamisa has said his party is ready for a process of genuine dialogue.
Said Chamisa:For months now, we have been asking our African brothers and sisters to look into the man-made governance crisis in Zimbabwe and help us restore the dignity of citizens.
We are heartened by Minister Pandor’s correct diagnosis of the major problem in Zimbabwe as toxic politics.
Dr Pandor has called for “practical solutions”. I wish to plead with SA, in the interim, to help set up a donor fund for our people from which we can pay our doctors a decent wage.
There is a silent genocide in hospitals which cannot wait for politicians to find each other.
We in the MDC stand ready to welcome South Africa and SADC’s mediation in Zimbabwe to end the suffering that has gone on for far too long, and give our people hope. In the face of provocation and persecution, our commitment to a sustainable, peaceful outcome has not shirked.

Winky D Refuses To Talk
Although there is speculation on social media suggesting Winky D will release a new album before the end of the year, the dancehall musician has kept his cards close to the chest.
He said he was not at liberty to share information regarding his work, dismissing social media reports that he was frequenting producer Oskid’s office where they were working on a new project.
Some reports claimed Winky D was rushing against time as he planned to drop the new project before the Christmas season.
But the Bigman, as Winky D is commonly referred to by his fans, denied any knowledge about the new project. Speaking through his manager Jonathan Banda, Winky D said it was something that was circulating on social media without supporting evidence.
“That is news to us,” he said. “It is something that is only coming from social media. We are hearing it for the first time. There is nothing like that which is happening.” Asked whether the Vigilance Band would drop something before the year end or not, Banda said: “We have no comment on that one. My fear is that the comment might be misinterpreted.”
A picture of the singer and Oskid has been circulating on social media, raising speculation the two were working on new stuff.
This year, Winky D rocked the domestic music scene with a single hit track “MuGarden” featuring acoustic singer Gemma Griffiths. – state media

Mbare Maternity Clinic To Reopen As Development Partners Intervene To Capacitate Nurses
By A Correspondent- Edith Opperman Maternity Clinic in Mbare is set to re-open after indications some development partners will assist health workers to report for work.
This follows reports that many women who ordinarily would have been assisted at the clinic are now turning to a traditional birth attendant who stays near the health facility.
Statistics from the clinic show that an average of 30 deliveries were being handled per day before nurses withdrew their labour citing incapacitation to report for work.
The traditional midwife Ms Esther Zinyoro claimed she had assisted 17 women to deliver between Sunday night and mid-morning yesterday. Ms Zinyoro said cumulatively, she had assisted more than 100 women to deliver since council clinics started turning away pregnant women because of the nurses’ mass job action.
She said that she had to date, not faced any complications or lost a patient during delivery.
Speaking after visiting both Edith Opperman Polyclinic and Ms Zinyoro’s home at Tagarika Flats yesterday, City Health director Dr Prosper Chonzi said authorities were working flat out to ensure that Edith Opperman resumed operations.
“Of course deliveries are taking place, but under a poor environment. Until Friday, she did not have any gloves, so she was using her bare hands to deliver the babies,” said Dr Chonzi.
He said the non-availability of running water, disinfectants, facilities for the disposal of the placenta and lack of safe delivery kits were all a cause for concern.
“This is why we are here with our partners to make sure that Edith Opperman is functional. We will make sure that it resumes operations, if not today, maybe tomorrow.
“We have to make sure that we look for extra resources elsewhere just to make sure that these critical areas are covered while negotiations with council continue,” said Dr Chonzi.
The Family Health director in the Ministry of Health and Child Care Dr Bernard Madzima, who was also part of the delegation said Government remains guided by international standards which stipulate that traditional birth attendants must have health education. “Traditional birth attendants must encourage women to go to health facilities.
“They should also be aware of dangers associated with pregnancy. That is the role they are supposed to play and that is what we advocate for in a normal situation,” said Dr Madzima.
The two officials were accompanied by representatives from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Harare nurses stopped reporting for work at the beginning of the month citing incapacitation, resulting in most facilities closing their doors to the public.
Last week, the municipality reported that only five polyclinics in Harare namely; Mabvuku, Tafara, Kuwadzana, Mufakose, Hatfield and Glen View were operating, a situation that saw most expecting women who could not afford private facilities resorting to home deliveries.

Another Accident In Apostle Chiwenga Church: 2 More Women Killed, Exact Same Time As Previous, Zimbabweans Ask “Why?”
By A Correspondent| Another accident in the controversial Talent Chiwenga’s church happened on Monday morning (the same time as the previous one) resulting in the death of two more female church members.

-NBC/ZimEye

Magombo said this while speaking during a post-budget consultation on Tuesday.
She said that stabilising the power situation is achievable if the country manages to get between 500 and 600MW from the Kariba power station.
Restoration of Unit 4 and 6 at the Hwange Thermal station will also help in eliminating the debilitating power cuts, she asserted.
Engineer Magombo said that the government is looking into increasing power imports and the adoption of renewable energy such as solar.

Drama As Form 6 Pupil Gives Birth During Exam
By A Correspondent- A Form 6 pupil at Danhamombe High School in Masvingo District had to be rushed to Chivi Rural Hospital after she allegedly gave birth during a Shona examination.
School head Emmanuel Muvengi confirmed the incident but said the girl, identified as Hazel Titos, delivered at the hospital.
“I am not authorised to speak to the media but the girl did not give birth in the examination room. She was rushed to the hospital where she delivered her baby. If you want more information please get in touch with my superiors,” said Muvengi.
Provincial Education Director (PED) Zediaus Chitiga said he was yet to get a report on the matter.
“You are breaking the news to me. If it happened then the report will eventually reach my office but right now it will still be handled at district level.
“The district will do thorough investigations before submitting a report,” said Chitiga.
Other sources, however, said Titos started complaining about abdominal pains during the examination and is said to have lied to the invigilators that she was having her monthly flow.
Thirty minutes into the examination, Titos is said to have fallen off the chair and her water broke.
Female teachers then realised that Titos was in labour and asked male teachers and other pupils to exit the room so that they could help her.
The examination had to be delayed and female teachers are said to have helped Titos deliver her baby safely before taking her to the hospital where she later finished her examination.
Titos is said to have given birth to a premature baby who was seven months.
When asked who the father of the baby was, Titos is said to have told the nurses that it was Tawanda Mudziwedare who stayed at the same house with the pupils.
Titos came from Muregeri village, some distance away from Danhamombe High School, and she was renting at the Madziware homestead where she was impregnated.

Fresh Details Emerge On How Dougie Helped Chiwenga Sanitise Coup
By A Correspondent- Former MDC Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora has disputed reports by National Patriotic Spokesperson Jealousy Mawarire that he met with the Generals at KGVI during the November 2017 bloody coup that ended 37 years of President Robert Mugabe’s rule and claimed the lives of citizens including CIO Boss Peter Munetsi.
Mawarire had claimed that Mwonzora and Paul Mangwana met with Generals to give them advise on how to sanitize the coup and make it legal.
Said Mwonzora, ” There are bizzare claims by some G40 elements masquerading as friends of the MDC that we gave legal advice to Gen. Chiwenga during the November 2017 coup. These allegations are false and malicious and calculated to tarnish my image and sow seeds of division within the MDC.”
Mwonzora added that all the Members of Parliament from the MDC who participated during the coup had the blessing of the party.
“It is an open secret that the MDC supported Mugabe’s removal. It is a historical fact that the MDC helped organise that historic March in November, 2017.
Our Members of Parliament actually played a leading role in Mugabe’s impeachment proceedings. They were working within the mandate of the Party. Contrary to the claims by Jealousy Mawarire I never met General Chiwenga or any of the commanders before, during and after the coup.
“At no time did I set foot in KG6 during that period. At no point did we travel in convoys let alone military convoys. What is true is that after the coup a group of lawyers led by advocates from the Advocates Chambers filed a court application in the High Court to declare the coup legal. The names of those lawyers are there.
I am not one of those lawyers! The lie by the G40 kingpin is meant to prepare for something evil. They want to create discontent within the opposition so that they weaken it before they either rejoin Zanu PF or put their own candidate to lead the opposition.”
Mawarire hit back saying the information about Mwonzora’s working with the army was volunteered by Mwonzora in Sandton, South Africa.
“Information that Mwonzora and Mangwana worked together consulting for Chiwenga came from none other than Mwonzora himself. He told me personally in SA in May 2018 at Park Inn Sandton hotel when we had our electoral pact meetings. I don’t think he was too sloshed to forget that.
“Mwonzora might want to come up with funny G40 theories but the fact remains, he consulted for Chiwenga, was given army escort during the coup and this information came from him not a third party. He told me a whole lot of which the legal consultancy is just a bit.
I am glad Paul Mangwana also corroborated. If there is anyone that Zanu-PF is working with to destroy the opposition then he should not look any further than himself. He knows what he is doing and no amount of G40ing will hide what he is doing. In fact by dragging G40 into his shenanigans, Mwonzora is doing a good brief for ED who is scared to bits about G40 working with MDC-Alliance.
If Mwonzora insists I’m lying about what he told me, I am glad to reproduce our entire discussion with more issues I have kept to myself.”

Chamisa Warms Up To South Africa, SADC Mediation
By A Correspondent- MDC leader Nelson Chamisa says his party is ready to welcome the South African government to mediate between Zanu PF and MDC to find a lasting solution to the challenges affecting the country.
Chamisa was responding to the statements by the South African Minister of International Relations Naledi Pandor who said the country is ready to mediate between the two parties.
Said Chamisa:
“For months now, we have been asking our African brothers and sisters to look into the man-made governance crisis in Zimbabwe & help us restore the dignity of citizens. We are heartened by Minister Pandor’s correct diagnosis of the major problem in Zimbabwe as toxic politics
“We in the MDC stand ready to welcome South Africa and SADC’s mediation in Zimbabwe to end the suffering that has gone on for far too long, and give our people hope. In the face of provocation and persecution, our commitment to a sustainable, peaceful outcome has not shirked.”
Chamisa further urged the South African government to assist by raising the funds to support the suffering doctors who have been on an industrial action for more than two months.
“Dr Pandor has called for “practical solutions”. I wish to plead with SA, in the interim, to help set up a donor fund for our people from which we can pay our doctors a decent wage. There is a silent genocide in hospitals which cannot wait for politicians to find each other.”
The MDC has insisted that it is ready to dialogue with Mnangagwa if the dialogue is convened by a credible convenor.
“International Community Important For A Modern Zim Economy”: Mnangagwa
By A Correspondent- Speaking at the 5th Global Forum Africa 2019, President Emmerson Mnangagwa acknowledged the importance of the international community in providing investment capital to revitalise the country’s economy.
He said:
“In terms of infrastructure, our railways, roads, airlines, manufacturing sector and ICT have been left behind.
There is no need to reinvent the wheel and that is why I am here. I believe here we have the people who have the capacity in textiles, who have capacity in diamonds.
We have lots of diamonds, but we have no technology and capital to process them. We export them raw.
We have lots of gold and lithium. I am a lawyer by training, but I understand lithium is very important for the future. We have platinum and so on, but with all these resources, they will remain underground as long as we do not have investment capital coming from outside the country to assist us in extracting them for the purposes of bettering the lives of our people, for the purposes of modernising our economy and creating better conditions for our people.
This is the vision we have, but it can only be realised if we are embraced by the international community, if we put policies that attract investment from the international community.”

Mnangagwa Thanks Zanu Pf Mahusekwa Crowd

By A Correspondent- President Emmerson Mnangagwa expressed gratitude to about 6 000 ZANU PF supporters who came for a rally he addressed at Mahusekwa Growth Point in Mashonaland East province on Saturday.
Mnangagwa had earlier officiated at the opening of Mahusekwa District Hospital before addressing the rally.
He said:
I came here for the official opening of this hospital at the invitation of (Health) minister Obadiah Moyo but was told that the Zanu PF family wants to meet me.
I want to thank you for the love you have exhibited. I also want to thank you for the massive numbers here.”
Mnangagwa’s statement followed an earlier experience at the National Sports Stadium in Harare at an anti sanctions rally where he was forced to address a paltry crowd.
Zimbabweans snubbed the event, leaving officials embarrassed by the low turnout after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on food and drinks for the anticipated crowd.

Gvnt Plugs Loopholes On Infant Teachers’ Recruitment
By A Correspondent- The government has taken measures to avoid the controversy that engulfed the recruitment of infant teachers early this year when non Ndebele speaking teachers were deployed in Bulawayo.
In a statement on microblogging site, Twitter, on Tuesday afternoon, the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services said teachers at infant level should provide proof that they are proficient in the local language of the district they will be applying for a teaching post.
The statement reads:
Prospective teacher registration for employment began yesterday at District Education offices. Applicants who wish to teach at infant level are required to provide proof of proficiency in the local language spoken at the district level. Contact Ministry of Education and PSC offices.
In March this year, the Secretary for Primary and Secondary Education Mrs Tumisang Thabela had to apologise to the people of Bulawayo over the deployment of teachers that are not proficient in the region’s local languages. She said measures were to be taken to rectify the issue.
Bona Mugabe, Kasukuwere To Confront ED Head On?
By A Correspondent- Bona Mugabe, the late President Robert Mugabe’s daughter, is set to be the liberator of the people of Zimbabwe political analyst and semiotician Dr Jethro William Mpofu has said.
In a highly charged up article posted on Monday Mpofu said President Emmerson Mnangagwa will be vindictive enough to dispossess the Mugabes of all the wealth that they accumulated during the time of the long time iron ruler.
The frustration that will be done to the Mugabes by the Mnangagwa administration will cause Grace Mugabe to be suicidal and Bona will become the savior of the family by standing up to the persecution Mpofu added.
Mpofu also said exiled Saviour Kasukuwere may team up with Bona to confront the system head on and the people of Zimbabwe will rally behind them
Commenting on the article analyst Kelvin Mazhandu said, “What Dr Mpofu is saying is not new. Remember when Nelson Mandela was imprisoned it is Zinziswa Mandela who addressed rallies and gave people hope through the messages from his father. Mugabe may be dead but what he stood for still resonate with the people of Zimbabwe who have repented from supporting the junta in November 2017. When Bona stands up and electrify the crowds with the ideas that his father stood for, the world will see how the current regime will crumble like a deck of cards.”
Read Mpofu’s full article below:
Dear Zimbabweans. I have been thinking long and hard about you lately, and about the dark times in the land, the mixture of tears and blood of the innocents. I have been pondering the many scenarios and possibilities. I will only share two telling developments that you and I might not like but have to ponder and work with. Before that let me share a word with the political opposition.
I have previously noted that Zimbabwe has so much politics and not so many politicians to take the political penalty kicks in front of us. We are not Machiavellians. We lack the spirit of the fox. We need more Jonathan Moyos in our lives. The political opposition, all political parties including one man and one woman ones must necessarily unite or perish before the coming storm, for a storm is coming, wind, dust, mud and heavy rains, politically, floods bigger than any before. I have stated before that there is another internal coup that is coming. ZANU-PF factions will fix each other to an end. After that the people’s coup will follow. Zimbabweans will win back the State, the army, the intelligence and the police as their own. Yes, hear this, the infamous soldiers and CIOs will be our heroes again one day soon.
The political opposition, united, should now appear more with the villagers of Zimbabwe. Meetings with ambassadors and important politicians of the world are good but not more important than the villagers. The storm must find you, Nelson Chamisa, and others in the villages, with the villagers, the owners of the future.
Now here it is:
1) Much unwisely, ED will seek and find revenge on Grace Mugabe. She will be punished, persecuted, displaced and dispossessed until she earns pity and sympathy from even Lucifer himself. She will be pushed to a suicidal spirit that will get her to say, let me die fighting ! and then, and only then Zimbabweans you will know that Mugabe left behind a Monster, hidden in the open. Bona Mugabe. Not Grace Mugabe again. Just her tears and suicide will madden her kids to an insane fight.
Unbeknown to most of you is that in ZANU-PF now, no one can, with rhetoric and logic move even the stones better than Bona Mugabe. If you remember the young Mugabe you know half the story. She will speak in a tone and accent never before heard.
She will speak in proverbs like a possessed woman. Wait to witness Bona Mugabe before a rally and you will come back to me. Her family and herself will be punished to suicide, and then the Mugabeness in Bona will kick in. So, opposition, do not be found in irrelevance when this starts. Be found with the people, and Bona will have to talk to you or the people will go to Bona and you will have to talk to her.
2) Ok. You Zimbabweans are not ready or willing to pick up arms and shoot the junta out. You fear death or you love life too much for that. In that situation, Machiavelli says find a bad boy or bad boys inside the system to crack it, divide it and get it to eat itself. That is the very bad news. You have to make use of those that are already bad to avoid being bad yourselves.
Saviour Kasukuwere is that. Inside and now outside. A political gangster and securocratic mafioso with a huge following inside. ED fears this monster that is surrounded by some of Zimbabwe’s most dangerous fighters and thinkers. Monsters if you like. Bona and Kasukuwere will be the face of a terrific internal opposition that will reduce ED and his few supporters to jokes. It is a suicidal and therefore real fight. No one must blink.
Desperate Zimbabweans are hungry for a hero. Any hero now. They will not bother about moral arguments and sentimental opinions. It is a Machiavellian moment that demands Machiavellians. Bona and Saviour will stand up, forced by history, to want to die for themselves first and Zimbabweans next, and they will shake the Junta to the roots.
The political opposition must seek the protection and the support of the masses or sink deep
Mnangagwa Opens Up On “Scarf Secret”
By A Correspondent- Addressing delegates at the ongoing 5th Global Forum Africa 2019, president Emmerson Mnangagwa explained the secret behind wearing the Zimbabwean scarf adding that it is a symbol of national pride.
Said Mnangagwa, who has sometimes been criticised for wearing the scarf even when it is very hot at national, regional and international forums:
“Let me say that for the past two decades, Zimbabwe has been in isolation, but now since the new dispensation which came about two years ago, we want to be embraced by the rest of the nations of the international community again.
To do so, we must be distinct. If you look around, you can easily see that is a Zimbabwean. So it is easy for the rest of the nations to identify us. We want to belong to the family of nations. This is the flag of my country and we are proud to carry it.
There is no other meaning except that we want to be distinct and say we are Zimbabweans, we are proud to be Zimbabweans and in spite of what is happening to my country, we still remain proud.”

Mvurwi Robbers Who Lured Victim With Sadza Jailed
By A Correspondent- Three Mvurwi men who robbed a drinking mate after offering him a plate of sadza were jailed yesterday by Guruve resident magistrate Shingirai Mutiro.
The trio Gilbert Kahari , Chamunorwa Kamukoyani and Memory Kembo were sentenced to 48 months in jail by Mutiro and an additional one year was conditionally suspended.
Prosecutor Carson Kundiona told the court that on September 20 the trio were drinking beer at a local club in Mvurwi when they met the complainant in the same club and started drinking together.
The trio observed that the complainant had money in his pocket and invited him for sadza at Kamukoyani’s place of resident and he complied.
Upon arrival sadza was dished before Kamukoyani and Kahari hatched a plan to go out leaving the complainant and Kembo who is wife to Kamukoyani together.
Kamukoyani and Kahari took a few minutes outside and stormed the room accusing the complainant of having an adulterous affair with Kembo.
They started assaulting him with open hands and forcibly took his ZWL$450 and US$5 which Kembo took and hid in her underwear.
The complaint tried to wrestle and get his money back but he was over powered and chased away from the scene where they shared the loot.
He filed a police report leading to the trio’s arrest.
In mitigation, Kembo wept uncontrollably before being whisked away by a giant prison officer.
Zimbabwe’s All Weather Friend Implores Mthuli Ncube To “Present The True Figures”
By A Correspondent- The Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe says the figure of the Chinese bilateral support that was announced by Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube during his budget statement is a misrepresentation of the correct figure on the ground.
Ncube said China had given Zimbabwe a support of US$ 3,631,500.
In a statement the Embassy said:
“The People’s Republic of China in Zimbabwe has taken note of the release of 2020 National Budget Statement by the Zimbabwean government. The Embassy appreciates the positive role the budget will play in promoting the policies and propagating the facts and figures related to the economic development of the country.
In the meantime, the Embassy has noted that in the statement, among Development Partner Support (on Page 51) received by the Zimbabwean government through bilateral channels, the figure of bilateral support provided by China to Zimbabwe is 3,631,500 USD. This is very different from the actual situation on the ground.”
Setting the record straight, the Embassy said the amount given to the country is US$ 136.8 million.
“According to our record, from January to September 2019, the actual bilateral support provided to Zimbabwe by China is 136.8 million USD. Such a figure does not include the other bilateral supports such as the expense of expert assistance, Embassy’s donations to local vulnerable groups and so on.
“The Embassy wishes that the relevant departments of the Zimbabwean government will make comprehensive assessments on the statistics of bilateral supports and accurately reflect its actual situation when formulating budget statement.
“The Embassy believes that with the efforts of Zimbabwean government and people, and with international support, Zimbabwe will achieve prosperity and development and realize the vision 2030.”
Acute Water Shortages Irks Residents
By A Correspondent- Residents here have expressed concern over acute water shortages citing fears of water borne diseases as the rainy season begins.
Mabvuku and Tafara residents said their right to water was compromised calling on government to help alleviate water woes for urban dwellers who are at risk of contracting typhoid and cholera among other diseases.
Said the Harare Residents Trust in a statement:
“A right to water campaign meeting was held here on 5 November 2019. Residents expressed concerns on the acute water shortages, and complained that they have gone for a long time without adequate and consistent water supplies.
The meeting was conducted using a focus group discussion in order for residents to express their experiences on the water services, bring out challenges and mapping the way forward.
The focus group discussions was made up of residents drawn from Chizhanje, Kugarika Kushinga, Mabvuku, New Tafara and Old Tafara comprising of twelve men and forty five women. The Act Alliance, an international organisation, supported the meeting.
Residents expressed mixed feelings during the discussions. A majority of them felt that their constitutional right to water was being violated, while others said the residents should always pay for their water when it is delivered to them.
Water is life and it has no substitute hence the availability of water is very crucial. Kugarika Kushinga and some parts of Old Tafara have gone for more than twenty years without receiving tap water, provided by the municipality.
In Mabvuku, residents said those who reside in low-lying areas receive water frequently while those on higher ground have no chance of receiving water. Residents in Chizhanje V area said their water taps are symbolic and most of the taps are corroded.
Residents said women and children are the most affected group with the state of water, as they have to look for other sources like community boreholes, which they spend four to five hours queuing to draw water.”

Hundreds Of Residents Fall Sick Amid Fears Of Typhoid, Cholera
Reported the Harare Residents Trust: Hundreds of residents in Tynwald South, Harare have fallen sick with suspected typhoid or cholera after allegedly drinking contaminated water from a community borehole.
This is happening at a time council nurses are claiming incapacitation due to extremely low salaries and conditions of services, since 4 November 2019.
Jane Jack, a member of the HRT suburban committee in the suburb, said the situation became known recently on 14 November 2019 after residents fell suddenly sick, experiencing vomiting and running stomachs, and they suspect that this was caused by contaminated water that they had fetched from one of their community boreholes.
Jack said one of the sick residents visited a private clinic for medical attention. She was told that they suspected food poisoning. The HRT is investigating the matter and will be providing updates.
Meanwhile the City Health Department has been alerted, and residents await their reaction to this emergency.

Joice Mujuru Silence Over Husband’s Death Explained
By A Correspondent- In his yet to be released autobiography, former War Veterans minister Tshinga Dube , has reiterated claims that the late Retired General Solomon Mujuru could have been murdered after a political or business deal went sour.
Mujuru died in 2011 in a fire at his Beatrice farmhouse just outside the capital Harare under mysterious circumstances.
“There were some people who were malicious; they even went to claim she (Joice) was responsible for her late husband’s death. For some unknown reason, perhaps out of fear and respect, Mujuru did not defend herself. There has been no explanation to date about her husband’s death in an inferno in their Beatrice house,” wrote Dube in his autobiography Quiet Flows The Zambezi to be launched on Friday.
Dube’s autobiography was edited and published by Pathisa Nyathi’s Amagugu Publishers.
“What led to his death may have been political or some business enterprise that went wrong. There are people who think it was to do with a diamond mine in which he had some shares,” Dube wrote.
“At the time of his death, some shares were set to be disposed of as part of the community share ownership scheme. Mossad, the Israel intelligence outfit, is alleged to have been involved. Anyway, such inexplicable political events are part of Zimbabwe.”
An inquest into Mujuru’s death concluded that there was no foul play despite speculation to the contrary.
Dube adds that Mujuru was destined to be the country’s leader had it not been for then First Lady Grace Mugabe’s surprise entry into politics and her ambitions for the lofty post.
“…The turning point came when the First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe entered the political fray when she had never been a politician. Amai Mugabe burst into something unknown seeking to oust VP Joyce Mujuru.
“All indications had been that President Robert Mugabe was ready and willing to pass on the baton to his VP Joice Mujuru. In her typical crude style, Amai Grcae Mugabe made accusations against VP Mujuru, some of which bordered on witchcraft and pr0stitution.”
Mujuru was fired from government in 2014 alongside eight other ministers for allegedly plotting to overthrow Mugabe.
Ministers who were fired include Didymus Mutasa, Webster Shamu, Francis Nhema, Olivia Muchena, Dzikamai Mavhaire, Nicholas Goche, Simbaneuta Mudarikwa and Munacho Mutezo.

Disrespectful 27 – 0 Fired Coach Speaks
Correspondent |Massimiliano Riccini argues “it would’ve been more embarrassing to stop playing” after he was sacked for leading an Italian youth team to a 27-0 win.
Riccini was dismissed by Grosseto-based youth club Invictasauro, whose President branded him “disrespectful” after they hit double digits against Marina Calcio.
“What was I supposed to do? Ask my boys to let their opponents score a goal?” he told La Repubblica.
“It would have been more embarrassing if we just passed the ball around and played keepball against them, if we stopped playing.
“We were up 6-0 after 10 minutes and, after the first half, I asked the opposition’s coach if we should stop the game. He asked me to just keep playing.
“That’s what we did. That’s what we should do in football. Anyone who says otherwise is a hypocrite.
“I would prefer to lose 27-0 than lose with fewer goals, aware that we had been the leading lights of a farce.”
The trainer has since received an outpouring of support, with the story going viral.
“I know the club will have a meeting tomorrow and I know the boys and also their parents will be there to convince the President to change his mind on the decision,” he concluded

Ecocash Airtime Purchase Back, But Minimum Buy Increased
It appears the minimum airtime purchase you can make on EcoCash might be getting a 150% increase from $2 to $5. That’s currently the message popping up when users try to buy airtime for anything less than $5:
There is a bit of confusion on whether these are permanent changes or if they are tied to the fact EcoCash has been going through serious problems and we couldn’t reach EcoCash representatives at the time of going to press.
What further puts this in doubt is that in the morning a similar error was popping up but with the minimum being $3.

Govt And Chinese Authorities Engage On Mthuli Ncube Misleading Budget Figures

Paul Nyathi|Government has indicated that it is meeting with Chinese officials to establish a common ground over figures of Chinese assistance given to Zimbabwe and presented by Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube during his budget speech in parliament last week.
The Chinese Embassy dismissed figures presented by Mthuli Ncube declaring them to be incorrect leading to a huge furore from Zimbabweans across the country.
Govt Moves In To Evade Clashes With Mthwakazi In Recruitment Of Teachers

Paul Nyathi|Government has moved in to put up measures that will avoid clashes with militant Mthwakazi Activists on the upcoming teachers recruitment exercise.
Speaking through the Ministry Of Information, government said that people will be recruited to teach in areas where they can speak the local languages an issue that has been high on Mthwakazi Activists’ fights.
In the last recruitment of teachers, communities in Bulawayo and its hinterland led by Mthwakazi Activists expressed dismay over the continued deployment of non-Ndebele speaking teachers in the region.
This came after the ministry of Education released names of teachers to be deployed to different parts of Zimbabwe.
Most of those deployed into the Matabeleland region had Shona surnames.
Neutrals believe that the problem should not be the deployment of teachers from other regions into Matabeleland, but that it can only become an issue if they fail to speak the local language and to communicate meaningfully with the students.
But the militant Mthwakazi Republic Party insisted that Matabeleland jobs belong to people from the region and anything less than that would not be acceptable.

Jacob Zuma Woes Continue, Fails To Pay Fees For Child

Former President Jacob Zuma is facing numerous legal battles and a looming second appearance before the state capture commission. Now his problems have been compounded by reports that he has failed to pay school fees for one of his children.
Zuma has reportedly failed to pay around R12 000 in school fees for his daughter with estranged wife Nompumelelo Ntuli. The teenager is enrolled at “a high school near Durban”.
According to City Press, the school obtained a default judgment against Zuma and MaNtuli, as his fourth wife is popularly known, for unpaid fees to the tune of R12 517 at the school.
The media reports said that Zuma was now also liable for legal costs amounting to R1 412 for the debt which was reportedly incurred last year.
Following an appearance at the Pietermaritzburg High Court earlier this Zuma, who is also facing fraud, racketeering and money laundering charges in connection with the multi billion rand 1990s arms deal, told his supporters that he had to sell his hats and socks to pay for his legal fees.
He said that the government was ganging up on him and did not want him to have lawyers and that he had to let go of his white lawyers who had initially represented him in his corruption trial.
Last month Inkosi Simphiwe Zuma, the leader of the Zuma clan, told Independent Media that if Zuma made a request to be helped, they would oblige.
“If we have something to offer, we can help him. He does indicate that he is facing some financial challenges, and we could meet to help him with what we can afford,” said Inkosi Zuma.
Last month the SunTeam reported that the National Prosecuting Authority would not prosecute Ma Ntuli for the alleged poisoning. MaNtuli afterwards described her “five years of hell” as she and her three kids were kicked out of Nkandla. She also said her estranged husband had not made contact with her since she was cleared of any wrongdoing.
The former first lady, Nompumelelo Ntuli ‘MaNtuli’ Zuma last month broke her silence and shared the difficulties she claims she has faced since being accused of attempts to poison former president Jacob Zuma five years ago. Amid the allegations in 2015, she and her three children were banned from the Nkandla homestead and were moved to Durban North, TimesLIVE reported.
MaNtuli spoke to Newzroom Afrika’s Karyn Maughan.
This was after the NPA decided not to prosecute anyone for Zuma’s alleged poisoning due to a lack of evidence.
In April this year, TimesLIVE reported that MaNtuli’s lawyer, Ulrich Roux, wrote to NPA head Shamila Batohi, asking her to finalise the investigation against his client as she had been awaiting her fate since 2015.
“I was shattered to go to public and do my work. No one was willing to come near me, no one was willing to work with me so I was so much isolated from the community that I used to stay in,” she said.
“I thought my husband knew me. It was a shock. I was subjected to machines [a lie-detector test]. It has been five years of hell. We were moved to a one-bedroom guest house in Greytown to accommodate for the children’s schooling,” she added.
“My kids and I would sleep together on a double bed in this tiny room and house. We were cramped. I asked to return to Nkandla but Mahlobo’s official said I’m no longer allowed. I felt abused and betrayed all these years,” she revealed.
On social media, tweeps said MaNtuli was a victim of abuse, while others asked why she had not received any support from the ANC Women’s League.

A’Level Student Gives Birth During ZIMSEC Examination

TellZim|A Form 6 pupil at Danhamombe High School in Masvingo District had to be rushed to Chivi Rural Hospital after she allegedly gave birth during a Shona examination.

Mwonzora Trashes Mawarire Claims, Says “It’s A G40 Strategy To Divide And Weaken Opposition”
Tanzanian President Says Chinese Loans Can Only Be Accepted By Mad People.

News Agents|Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli has opposed a KSh 1 trillion loan from a Chinese company over tough conditions imposed on them by the investor.
In 2013, Tanzania signed a framework agreement with China Merchants Holdings International, China’s largest port operator, to build a port in Bagamoyo and a special economic zone to transform the country into a regional trade and transport hub.
The deal was signed by Magufuli’s predecessor Jakaya Kikwete during a visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to the country. It was also financially backed by Oman’s State General Reserve Fund. The groundbreaking of the project took place in 2015, but, Magufuli’s government set to renegotiate the terms and conditions with the investors.
In May 2019, Tanzania MPs raised questions on the stalled project with many accusing the government of sabotaging development programmes in the country.
However, the Head of State responded to the MPs saying the conditions that were given by the financier were too tough and amounted to selling their country to China.
“Those investors are coming with tough conditions that can only be accepted by mad people. The investor told us once they build the port, there should be no any other port to be constructed all the way from Tanga to Mtwara south,” said Magufuli.
He said the investor company wanted the government not to collect revenue from Bagamoyo once its construct the port.
“They want us to give them a guarantee of 33 years and a lease of 99 years, and we should not question whoever comes to invest there once the port is operational. They want to take the land as their own but we have to compensate them for drilling construction of that port.
“I am speaking this because, we as Tanzanians should be changing for we have been played for long,” he said.

Visa Denied Linda Masarira Hits Back At British and US Govts, Accuses Americans Of Bribing Her With USD2 million

By Dorrothy Moyo| The British-visa-denied POLAD member, Linda Masarira has accused the United States embassy for bribing her with USD 2 million so she could travel to European countries to demonise Emmerson Mnangagwa’s party, ZANU PF.
Her allegations are contained in a leaked audio message whose transcript is supplied courtesy of ZimEye.com below.
Masarira begins by saying:
Leader Chanda. Thank you for your input and I want to respond to you in regards to your input. You should also understand that I have been a regular visitor to the American embassy and there are a lot of things that I know which a lot of Zimbabweans do not know.
AUDIO LOADING BELOW…
And after realisation that I cannot sell Zimbabwe’s sovereignty for my own luxuries I decided to do the right thing. Remember in 2016 I was imprisoned for insulting the office of the President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe and I was arrested once again after the march in Mufakose which I was not involved in.
When I was released eight, nine days later, the people paying my bills were the Americans. I had several meetings and interviews with them, they wanted to give me 2 million they wanted to get me to America, give me a green card, and take me on tours to European countries so that I demonize my country but I am not that person. I am not that person I love my country more than anything else. I could have gone anywhere I wanted, in 2016 after I came out of prison but I chose to serve my country. I am not mad. We cannot survive on the mercy of America or Europe or Britain, we are Zimbabweans first before we have something else. We all have a duty and a responsibility to protect our sovereignty, and that is what is lacking in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe thinks that America or Europe or UK is going to save us. No. No one is going to save us.
The solutions to the crisis at hand we have in Zimbabwe lies within zimbabweans lies with us understanding who we are as a people. Live with us understanding that we are zimbabweans we are Africans and that we have got vast mineral resources that we should exploit to the benefit of the people of Zimbabwe. But as long as we think that white imperialists are our saviours we are not bringing any justice to ourselves. I don’t subscribe to that ideology. We need to redefine who we are as a people and the chart and chart the way how we are going to do that. LEAD as a political party is not going to beg for funds to operate from America, UK, EU or whatever, we are going to use our subscriptions we’re going to use the business unit to make our own money.
We have to decide on the course of action that we are going to do and as much as I am appreciative of your concerns we will never be a colony of any western imperialist or eastern imperialist.
Bona Mugabe, Kasukuwere In Pact To Challenge Mnangagwa?

Former Nigerian Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel has described Belgian star Eden Hazard as ‘the laziest player he has ever played with.’

“The laziest player I have played alongside is Eden Hazard,” Mikel told beIN Sports in Turkey,” Mikel told Bein Sports.
“He didn’t like to train hard. While we were working he was waiting for us to finish training just standing there. But on Sundays he was always man of the match, it was unbelievable.” he added.Soccer24

China Sets The Record Straight On 2020 Budget Figures, Did Mthuli Ncube Lie?
By A Correspondent- The Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe says the figure of the Chinese bilateral support that was announced by Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube during his budget statement is a misrepresentation of the correct figure on the ground.
Ncube said China had given Zimbabwe a support of US$ 3,631,500.
In a statement the Embassy said, “The People’s Republic of China in Zimbabwe has taken note of the release of 2020 National Budget Statement by the Zimbabwean government.

Solomon Mujuru’s Mysterious Death- Former War Vets Minister Tshinga Dube Speaks

1/3) For months now, we have been asking our African brothers and sisters to look into the man-made governance crisis in Zimbabwe & help us restore the dignity of citizens. We are heartened by Minister Pandor’s correct diagnosis of the major problem in Zimbabwe as toxic politics
(2/3)We in the MDC stand ready to welcome South Africa and SADC’s mediation in Zimbabwe to end the suffering that has gone on for far too long, and give our people hope. In the face of provocation and persecution, our commitment to a sustainable, peaceful outcome has not shirked.
(3/3)Dr Pandor has called for “practical solutions”. I wish to plead with SA, in the interim, to help set up a donor fund for our people from which we can pay our doctors a decent wage. There is a silent genocide in hospitals which cannot wait for politicians to find each other.

Political Reforms And Legitimacy Question
Any prospects of economic recovery for Zimbabwe are significant in signifying a genuine, credible, transparent, verifiable and traceable electoral process that produces an uncontested election result. Any effective engagement with international community and investors is characterised by a stable political environment that promotes and invests in rule of law.
The guarantee and security of any investment in Zimbabwe can only be insured and protected by a democratic notion of popular consent which is conferred through free, fair and credible elections.
Electoral reforms can only be established by demonstrating what constitutes these reforms. There is lot of questions from the generality of citizens, international community, investors and other organisations with regards to the content of these political reforms that have always impeded on our political stability and economic revival. The calls for these reforms have left many people confused and failing to understand whether they are meant for regime change or improving credibility and transparency in our electoral processes.
The notion for political reforms is raised on the basis and belief that we have deficiencies and inadequacies in our political and electoral processes causing a contested result. This is a result of lack of credibility due to our referees and officials running the process being captured and compromised. That impedes and impacts on the election closure which is meant to pave way for elected legislators to focus on substantive policy issues that impact development and smooth flow of government’s economic programs. Due to an unfair and incredible election process, the losing candidate will refuse to concede defeat which is meant to confirm the legitimacy of the winner. This lack of losers consent undermines the idea of popular consent which is central to the legitimacy question.
Zimbabwe’s electoral processes are materially deficient, unfair and inclusive of the personnel running the process who are either captured or corrupted. Years between to the next election are spent on these contestations having the team running the election battling to assert and prove the legitimacy of the winner.Arguments that emanate from lack of traceability and verification of the election result always stifle development and very little attention will be paid to policy issues that affects reforms and development. Zimbabwe needs a fair, free and credible electoral process that creates an election result that can simply be accepted as a free and fair and be regarded as a reflection of the public opinion.
We need to start to establish a history of exchanging power peacefully between main parties. ZANU has never experienced life in opposition because of its fear that if it loses power, there is no incentive and it might be subjected to investigative processes regarding their abuse of power and corrupt practices during its term.
Reform proposals must guarantee a fair treatment of members of previous regime and a fair playing field that ensures trust and confidence in the process. The process must guarantee confidence and trust in the losing candidate that he has an opportunity to win next election. Political reforms must constitute measures to address institutional bias and lack of professional ethics in the Judiciary, the police, the Army etc.
All these reforms that we have always demanded since year 2000 are central to Zimbabwe’s economic recovery and investment agenda.
We need collective initiative as Zimbabweans to push ZANU to come to terms with the reality of realising the pain and suffering of Zimbabweans due to its conduct. A collective position on how to ensure ZANU complies with the reforms and its commitment to honour any agreement will be vital in defining our way forward as Zimbabweans.
Genuine, sincere and objective, inclusive discussion on these reforms is a prerequisite in ensuring ZANU understands the seriousness and urgency in focusing on these reforms.Blessing Simpson Madzima
