Mnangagwa, Mphoko Jaunt ZANU PF Indaba Venue
As Vice-Presidents Emmerson Mnangagwa and Phelekezela Mphoko toured the 15th Zanu-PF Annual National People’s Conference venue yesterday, expressing satisfaction with preparations, rumours flared that Mnangagwa is going to be axed following the indaba.
This came as First Lady Grace Mugabe for the first time in history this week shoved herself forward as Mnangagwa’s senior attacking journalists who had written and published the contrary. This was all during her crusade whirlwind….

As analysts speculated that Mrs Mugabe is now certain to rise to the Presidium, it was revealed the conference is titled, “Consolidating People’s Power Through Zim-Asset.”
The indaba is beginning tomorrow at Elephant Hills Golf Course from December 7-13, 2015.
The Politburo sitting in Harare tomorrow is the one the public say is going to be defining.
“All this while Grace has been saying she is below Mnangagwa but on Thursday she opened the mystery surrounding these meet the people crusades which is the presidium”, Perry Mukwena wrote on Saturday.
Two recent videos of Mugabe cousin Phillip Chiyangwa praising Grace as the right President (successor) throw hints on Mrs Mugabe’s said rise to the Presidency.
Meanwhile the State Media reported that the VPs were in Victoria Falls at the invitation of Grace Mugabe supporter and G40 member, the party Secretary for Administration and conference co-ordinator Ignatius Chombo. They received organising committee reports and then went around the venue — occasionally hand-in-hand — and cracking jokes.
The accompanying party comprised Politburo members Simon Khaya Moyo, Cain Mathema, Kembo Mohadi, Jacob Mudenda, Sithokozile Mathuthu, Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri and Obert Mpofu, among other officials.
VP Mnangagwa said the conference will focus on 2014 Congress resolutions and review Zim-Asset implementation.
“The chairman of the co-ordinating committee, Chombo, invited my colleague and I to come and see progress made by sub-committees in preparation for the conference.
“We are highly impressed by the degree of progress in all sectors. We are satisfied that everything possible has been done and we are bracing for a very successful conference. You can see how everything has been set, including the main plenary tent. This is beautiful.”
Ten tents – one per province – have been pitched and furnished, and workman are putting finishing touches to the marquee.
Other facilities like offices, a clinic and media centre are also ready, with access roads and corridors surfaced. Electricity and Internet connectivity are available.

  1. Most political news is speculations and assumptions. There is no definite answer. It’s not mathematics where there is a definite answer.
