Relief has hit the border town of Beitbrdge after police finally arrested on Wednesday morning, four notorious thugs responsible for a series of armed robberies in the town.

The four were caught in a deep nap resting from a night of thuggery by the police following a tip off few hours after they had attacked and robbed any early morning flea market trader.

The four were positively identified by some of their victims as the long wanted thugs before police whisked them away as a crowd watching was demanding that they be released into mob justice.

Police officers at the scene said that the four will appear in court as soon as charges and investigations against them are completed.
