“All is set for this weekend’s MDC Alliance coalition rally set for Bulawayo’s White City Stadium,” Professor Welshman Ncube the MDC Alliance coalition spokesperson has declared.

In a statement provided to ZimEye.com on Tuesday, Ncube said that the residents of the city are eager to meet with the Alliance leaders and hear Chamisa speak.

Ncube’s statement on the rally preparations is as below:

“Preparations for the Bulawayo MDC Alliance Star rally are at an advanced stage with all Alliance partners busy mobilising masses to attend.

As MDC Alliance, we are encouraged by the overwhelming eagerness and support shown by Bulawayo residents to attend the rally at White City Stadium this weekend. The rally will kick off from 9 AM to 4 PM.

We encourage the people of Bulawayo to come out in their numbers to hear first -hand our presidential candidate Advocate Nelson Chamisa and the other principals deliver a message of hope for the country.

We shall be seeking the support of the people of this great city in achieving our goal of ousting the incompetent Zanu PF government and replacing it with the capable and youthful leadership of Nelson Chamisa in the upcoming election.

This will also be an opportunity for Bulawayo residents and surrounding areas to interact and engage with the MDC Alliance leadership through the various activities lined up in the city on the 7th of April.

Advocate Chamisa and all the other Alliance principals are coming together to pledge that time is up for Zanu PF.

We are focused and committed to ushering a new Zimbabwe that avails equal opportunities to all citizens and more importantly to restore the country’s rightful image among other nations.

We shall continue as an Alliance to comb every corner of this country to wash away all remnants of Zanu PF oppression from the minds of long suffering Zimbabweans.
