By Farai D Hove| MDC leader Nelson Chamisa did not at all lie about the late veteran Joshua Nkomo’s sacred rod, it has emerged.

Chamisa was truly offered a walking at the late Joshua Nkomo’s house.

The MDC leader can be seen in several pictures at Joshua Nkomo’s house obtaining the rod gesture inside Nkomo’s bedroom – see pictures below.

Writing on Wednesday morning, the party’s Standing Committee member Chalton Hwende said, “Zanu-PF and State Media’s propaganda is sickening.

“The President was offered a Walking stick this is a fact but he never said he was offered the walking stick that Dr Nkomo used to use because he was never offered this particular walking Stick.”

The development comes after the late National Hero’s son told ZimEye Chamisa according to him is disrespected the Veteran through his speech at White City Stadium on Saturday. Watch the below video for the whole debacle
