By Farai D Hove| Parliament has successfully removed Thokozani Khupe from parliament.

This followed a letter from Nelson Chamisa’s MDC which announced that Dr Khupe is no longer a member of the MDC-T.

The letter stated that Khupe is no longer an MDC-T MP.

The Speaker Of Parliament announced that he has received “A Letter Of Notice” from the MDC-T that Hon. Khupe is no longer a member of the party.

The Speaker Of Parliament then said the letter says Khupe has ceased to represent the party in Parliament.

He the proceeded to declare that, “therefore a vacancy has arisen for the Bulawayo Metropolitan Proportional representation seat, the house will make necessary arrangements to inform the President and ZEC…”
