Former Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation radio and television presenter, Ezra Tshisa Sibanda, has urged President Emmerson Mnangagwa to dismiss all incompetent government officials.

Commenting on
the Minister of State for Mashonaland West
Province, Webster Shamu’ s dismissal yesterday Sibanda said Mnangagwa should dismiss all ineffective government bureaucrats.

Mnangagwa
exercised his executive powers in terms of section 108 (1)
(a) as read with section 340 (1) of the
Constitution, according to Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Misheck Sibanda.

“Can you fire all the lazy bureaucrats as well, Mr President,” Sibanda said.
